Adequate suit, sizing differs from most Speedo swimwear
I usually wear swim briefs for lap swimming, but I picked this up as an occasional-use item. Normally with Speedo other similar swimwear brands it's best to buy a size or two larger than you would normally wear, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this mesh drag suit. It fits a bit loose around the waist, but the drawstring makes the swimsuit work. One of the fears I have about going a size smaller is that my thighs are quite large and muscular and I fear they will be too constrained if I try a smaller size. This suit is adequate for lap swimming, but I feel like there might be better options out there for people interested in a drag suit.

A great suit, made well
I purchased this as a replacement for the same suit I bought years ago. I'm in my 40s and not a competitive swimmer, but call it 2-3 times per week for 2-3 years, and that suit held up like a champ. This replacement seems similarly well-built (how many items today seem less solid than the identical models they replace?), and finally to the point -- it works. I use this suit for my workaday workouts, and on the rare occasion that I'm in a race, I use a non-drag suit. The difference is immense. This suit is also modest in all the ways that a men's suit should be, which is to say that you could wear it around non swimming types (in a pinch) and not be embarrassed. One item of note - it does run small. I'm a 33-34 waist, and the 36 inch waist for this suit is perfect. Anything smaller and I think I'd have trouble getting my legs into it.

Great training suit!
I've had a couple of these suits over the years, and I keep going back to it on the odd occasion that I need another. They last for a very long time! I think I bought my last about 5 years ago, which for the swimsuit world is an eternity. A few suggestions...this is a training suit, and shouldn't be worn when you're planning to swim fast. You should wear a normal suit under it (aka a speedo). And definitely order 1-2 sizes larger for this than your normal speedo-type suit (I wear a 28 or 30 in a speedo, but wear a 34 in this). It does take a little getting used to, and you'll feel a little more tired than normal when you first wear it. You may only make it through 1/3 of your normal workout, take it off. Try to go a little further the next time. The great thing about this suit is that when you go without you feel super fast!

Drag suit
I have seen some ridiculous comments about these suits. 100% guaranteed those comments are not from swimmers, by which I mean, at the very least, lap swimmers. These are supposed to fit you tight and the outer layer is supposed to be saggy to create drag as you are swimming your laps.Fits the way it is supposed to - I am a size 29 waist and ordered a size 30, size 32 would definitely be too big. 5'10", 148 lbs, swimmer's body type. The sag looks cool (if you get the right size that fits tight on your thighs), if you get it too big then I am sure the sag will look ridiculous. If you are self conscious about your body this will not work for you.Only reason this gets a 4 and not a 5 is because the orange color, which I also have, is the true 5... amazing color.

Comfortable training swimsuit
I am not a competitive swimmer by any means. I have been using this swimsuit for 1k to 2k training swims 3-4 days a week and no sign of wear yet. I am 6 feet tall and typically wear 33" waist. The 34" size fits great. I would describe the suit as providing an appropriate amount of resistance in the water. The blue color looks pretty good and it provides pretty good body coverage so you aren't the creepy speedo dude at the pool.

Basic/Good drag suit.
Nothing particular about this drag suit. It does what it's suppose to do. The only issue I have with it is that it is really tight around the thighs. I'm not sure if that's a manufacturing problem/defect, but it doesn't effect the fact that it still catches more water than a regular speedo. If anything, the tightness helps keep the drag suit from looking like really short trunks. Overall, I like the purchase and would recommend this product. I'd suggest to order true to size and deal with the tightness around the thighs; afterall if you're that serious of a swimmer to buy a drag suit then you'd know that it loosens up over a short time.

Good for workout
I got these because I saw a really fast swimmer wearing the same type of Speedo. Like other reviews say, these are not as tight as speed speedos, so cover a bit more skin. Still sexy. With the drag these create, arms get stronger.

Fits' Well, Better than expected!
This suit I use for Fitness Swimming twice a week. I wanted something different other than the traditional Square Cuts', so I tried this suit. I was hearing variations of opinions on sizing / order large!.;; order smaller!;, my rule of thumb for fit was; I am about a 35 swim size, I chose to order the number lower to a 34, and my suit fit perfectly! Very comfortable, and easy to move in I do biking also, and have no problem with leg' size. go your true size - if in between, the number lower.
