Super easy to put together. Yes, it's not REAL wood, but it does NOT look cheap and it is solid. Be careful when moving as the inside shelves are locked and will fall out. It's took my approx. 10-min. I do wish there were options to make the slots smaller to have addition shelving. I will defiantly be buying another one in the future. It's great for getting those organized unorganized piles of paper off you desk, sorted and easily accessible and helps declutter. I did prop it up to raise it so I could put it where it best best for me. Looks professional, clean look, great for a home office, and looks like it will last for a long while. I'm a musician, teacher, and doctoral candidate-- I finnaly had one place to put music hands in ONE spot and organized. I even marked the last copy to know I needed to make more:) I'm SUPER happy.

I needed some shelves to hold the various letter sized printing papers that I use. The wire units all looked flimsy, so I opted for the Fitueyes unit. I was definitely the right decision. The top, bottom, and sides are sturdy particle board with extremely accurately drilled holes. The top and bottom are attached to the sides with dowel pins and camlocks. Like other reviewers, I glued the dowels in for extra sturdiness and because the holes were a little loose (and I'm a perfectionist.) The shelves look like they are made of high density particle board. They are very hard and flat. Since they sit on the side pins in the basic case the company wisely put the extra quality where it's needed! The company included one extra of every fastener. An extra camlock. An extra cam pin. An extra dowel. That's really going the extra mile for the customer. Every structural piece has a small number sticker on it which corresponds to the numbers in the assembly diagram, so there's no confusion as to which piece is which. With the extra rigamarole of gluing the dowels (which was strictly my choice), it took me just about an hour to assemble. It would probably would have taken half that time if I hadn't added the gluing step. The finished case is extremely sturdy and high quality looking. Great product! I'd give it six stars if I could.

We must have like ten of the at home by now, and they are truly excellent. They look very good--much more expensive than they are! they are put together in a couple of minutes. And they last (we put only papers in them; your mileage might differ if you use them for football practice....)

Wanted this to store my cricut vinyl and mats. The mats are tight but do fit in there with just a little bend on the edge. I may put some cardboard in there so they lay flat and at an angle (and don’t get warped). Holds the sheets great so I can sort the colors a little bit. Seems like a nice sturdy unit. Came with no damage or scrapes at all and has that nice pvc coating on it. Directions were ok, but there aren’t many pieces so it was an easy assembly. Nice square corners and love that the shelves are notched so they won’t come sliding out.

I bought this for my girlfriend, but it was too big for her Ikea malm desk so I kept it. I am a big hardwood fan so I am usually not too fond of these "wood" products. Considering I had a plastic one that kept falling apart, I gave this a chance and did not send it back. Easy to assemble, light, and looks great on my hardwood desk. It is currently holding my 13in MacBook pro, a clock, and papers with no issues. Much sturdier than most filing contraptions I have seen, and a great buy for the price. Helps keep your desk space uncluttered. It is bigger than it looks in pictures so do your measurements! Not the companies fault, I chose to guesstimate.

So great I bought another one! They are perfect size for desk and help organize. I have 2 stacked. They are very easy to put together.

This is the fourth FITUEYES product I've ordered this year. I have two of the monitor stands that I use for a desk lamp, my personal trinkets to display, and enough space underneath to hold folders and other miscellaneous papers. I've also got two of these organizers. I love them! Not only are they practical but they are aesthetically pleasing as well. The black is very professional looking, sleek, and brings everything on my desk together. The organizer is very sturdy and will hold a lot of files and papers. I can't comment on the assembly because I sweet-talked someone in the office to put it together for me haha! As for durability, I've had the two monitor stands for 5 years and they look brand new. FITUEYES makes a great product! If I have a need for more desk organizers I will be looking to FITUEYES again and again. Buy it, you won't be disappointed!

My husband has been working at home. He needed a place for his pending and completed paperwork.. I put this organizer together and surprised him. He was delighted and positioned it on his desk right away. The most challenging thing was getting the heavy box open. The pieces were nicely packed. The only tool needed was an Allen wrench, which was included. I needed to study the directions and look at the pieces, but I finely figured out how to get started. From there it was a cinch. The organizer is sturdy and the predrilled holes were precise and fitted the metal connectors and dowels nicely. (If I were to reassemble, I would use some wood glue on the dowel pieces just to add extra stability.) I would certainly buy other pieces from this manufacturer.
