MegaWatt S-700-12 50 Amp Continuous 10.5 to 14 Volt Ham CB Radio or Linear Amp Power Supply Not a China Clone Real MegaWatt MW 13.8V 12V

Power supply is light and small. Seems to work running my cbs and a couple other radios. But the fan is obnoxious constantly runs the whole time the power supply is on. Would have been nice if it would have had a temperature switch or something to cut the fan on and off as needed instead of continuously running. They say you get what you pay for and in this case that is it. For the price it's a good little power supply you just got to get over the noise of the fan constantly running. I know now I should have got the Astron 50 or 70 amp power supply but figured I'd give this one a shot

Product is small and light, adjusting the voltages very easy with your meter, a power cord with an inline switch is included.I have no idea how they get 50 amps out of this small package but it handles my ranger RCI 2970N2 just fine..I set it to exactly 14V as the paper with the supply states..The fan does run all the time but it is not that loud.. Also with the 50 amp I got end connectors that fit 8 Gauge wire perfectly and fit under the screws..

I own Lawn Mower Man of NWA (CB Shop) In my opinion there is not a better switching supply out on the market, but there are cheaper and you know the old adage " You get what you pay for" I rebuild amps and build new amps and test some very high Amperage Equipment and thes units stack to handle the demands that I require. Very well pleased with there looks and quality and you will be too.

bought 4 of these one of them came damaged the mounting tabs were bent, thought no big deal just cosmetic.WRONG anyway the fan would make loud screeching noise after a min it would smooth out .all 4 run parralell all voltage calabrated did a great job for a short time had one fail looking thru front grill white powder substance all over, now just running 3 2 more failed only volting up to 12.6 and not enough amperage to run equipment.can not find phone number anywhere on the web to contact company for repair not real happy after spending 500 bucks

The fan runs all of the time like the add said but since it is blowing at me on my Ham desk it would be better if it had a thermostatically control fan so it would not run all of the time. The wire connections are all running out the back down the back of my desk so the fan is blowing right in my face. I had to use a deflector on it which just consists of a piece of cardboard box.

Using them for pool lights. Two lights per transformer but 4lights are bright and 2 are dim.

Good so far, with no issues... hope to feel the same way over the next few months

Works really well on my ham radios. Fan is a little noisy but not bad. I wired in an ammeter and can see the amp draw. Works great and I am very happy with it.
