Enjoyed reading this one

This is one of my favourite reads of all time. Set in the beautiful town of Alaska.

Loved it....lived it....was one of them through their journey....a very different read and experience....Alaska is the main hero of this book

Simple story of love, sacrifice and innocent. One who truly loves nature has to read this book. We see love of all sorts in this book. I am a man and not ashamed to admit I cried at times reading this book. The book has deep roots in my heart. Thanks Kristin Hannah 😊

Real good one

The best thing about novel is the landscape it will pave in your imagination about Alaska. The voice of the central character is not linear as she is dealing with an angry war-torned abusive father and a compassionate chain smoking mother. She falls in love in a new place in a new town in Alaska. There is so much snow your fingers will feel the chill as she writes. This is my third Kristin Hannah novel and I like her but she is a little repetitive and her books tend to focus a lot on the courage and strength of one character against all odds. Also there is a slight formula she used in this book and a similar one was used in four winds but the latter is a better book. Her best work is nightingale. You can skip this if you want.

Beautifully narrated. When the head of the family is not in good mindset, how a family suffers is very nicely narrated.

I have been a fan of Kristin Hannah after reading her 'The Nightingale ' but this book clearly surpassed my expectations . It's one of my favorite books now . It's full of emotion , adventure and life. Set in Alaska it gives a detailed description of how life is there and that's something dangerous yet exciting .
