Amazing price. Installation was a breeze (it comes with two screws), and it's super fast. For productivity, SATA SSD will suffice, however, if you're doing beefier resource intensive tasks or gaming, NVMe SSD will be better for you. The 500gb fills up fast, so depending on the applications you install, you might want to get a bigger one. I'm using an 1TB crucial P1 nVme ssd as the boot drive & using this new one for application installs. Read-write speeds are really good.I'm thinking of using this ssd in an enclosure with type c & use it as an external drive which can help me with quick transfer of data or work on the go.Update: (week Later); I have added this ssd in a metal type enclosure by everpert which costed about Rs.950. Read-write speeds were good using a usb 3.1 cable.Update: (8 months Later): Speeds were consistently stable 410-445 reads & 390-430 writes. observed a 2% speed boost after a recent firmware upgrade. i also ordered the 1tb ssd last week. will post the benchmarks soon.Checkout the benchmark screenshots i posted. This SATA m,2 drive is totally worth its price.

The price is a big value for those who want to upgrade their systems. Works seamlessly till date without any issues. However, using their Acronis software can be a bit confusing at first but oncd you get the hang of it, its pretty much ok. Laptop now boots in about 7 seconds from an earlier boot tike of 25-30 seconds. Highly recommended

Hi,Writing this review after 3 weeks usage, If you are some one who struggles with hard-disk then just go for this It will be the single best upgrade you can do on a laptop. I am software developer and I work with many software and files on almost times, My main bottle neck was the damn hard-disk which used to be in 100% usage all times. Now everything works like a charm, not even a single lag after the upgrade.My lap is i5 8250U, 8gb Ram, mx150below are my experience> Windows boots completely + get search result from chrome in less than 20 secs> Windows shutdowns in 3-6 secs> Witcher 3 open to main menu in 5 secs> Normally stays in temperature of 40°C-45°C, on high usage like bench marking it hits 67°C - 74°CIf you are into complete cloning or C drive only cloning I recommend Macrium Reflect, It does the Job fine and its easy to use.,don't need to use Acronis true image as its recommended

This made a huge difference to the performance of my asus x505za laptop which already comes with a 1tb hdd drive. Boot time of windows 10 home is merely 3 to 5 secs. Has enough capacity to store all my virtualbox vm's, few games and most third party program like msoffice, photoshop,etc.Installation is ease, difference between m.2 nvme and this one in real time performance is very negligible. While nvme disks comes at twice the cost, therefore would definitely recommend this one over nvme.

This product is very under rated compared to Samsung and other brands , but after checking its reviews around the world , I choosed to purchase it , I'm happy with the purchase. I have 8th Gen Intel CPU with H370 motherboard , during installation the only thing that I worried about was data transfer from my existing HDD to this SSD , but this came with a free cloning software which has done my 90% of my work , only after cloning I had to chose the SSD as preferred boot option , then it worked like it should at the first time , don't be scared during the first boot , it takes time similar to a HDD , after 2nd boot it's starts to show magic , my computer usually used to boot in 2 Min befor now it only takes 7 sec . Pretty awesome right.I'm using this SSD from past 6months, don't have any complaints.

I have asus x505za purchased in 2019. A light user, still an ant could walk a couple of times along the length of my laptop in time it takes to load up. I didnt knew storage had types but since i came to know it, everything has been pleasant since then.

This is probably the best sata m.2 ssd. Data read and write speed is fast enough to make your old laptop fast.And olease dont use acronis or any other software to migrate your windows drive, instead instead install new windows to have full access of high speed storage.

It's being 2 months I have have not got any updates regarding my product.it comes under 5year warranty but it's was not working since 15th day of my purchase so i went to the service centre they assured me that my issue will be solved within 15-20days but I have not received any update from 2 months.

I bought this for my Asus FX53vd budget gaming laptop which only came with a 1 TB HD with an empty m.2 slot. So far the SSD has been excellent and very easy to install. It was my first time installing an m.2 SSD and by following the instructions I got it perfectly on my first try. I've been using it for approximately 3 months and so far I've come across no issues. The cloning software that Crucial provided, Acronis worked as advertised and I had no issues with it. With 500 gb I can put all my programs I need for school, games and my OS without needing to worry about space too much. My OS also boots up way faster now. Since I got this on sale I would say the price was pretty good for a 500 gb SSD. 5/5.

Este SSD M.2 es sin duda la mejor actualización que le he hecho a mi Laptop Asus GL553VD. Instalar el M2 es muy simple teniendo el puerto correcto, incluye dos pequeños tornillos para sujetar (sólo se usa uno) y un pequeño manual para descargar la App que te permite entre muchas cosas, hacer un clon perfecto de tu HDD actual. Este proceso fue mucho más rápido de lo que pensé, crea las particiones necesarias y clona todo.En particular el puerto para la M.2 ya estaba ubicado para arrancar primero en mi laptop, así que no tuve necesidad de mover los discos como sugiere el programa al final. Para los que no arranca el M.2 primero, deben entrar a BIOS y configurar qué sistema debe iniciarse o abrir otra vez e intercambiar ubicaciones.¿Vale la pena comprarlo? Yo votaría que sí, aún antes que expandir tu memoria RAM, a menos que tengas muy poca, pero si tienes de 6 a 8 GB el SSD es mejor opción, la carga de archivos se eleva y la rapidez con que el Sistema baja a disco los programas en RAM que no estás usando mejora mucho.Sugerencia: NO borres tu disco original con el sistema, desconfía del M.2 hasta que hayan pasado varias semanas de uso y no encuentres ningún problema (tanto en la clonación como en el hardware y defectos de fabricación) También vale la pena crear una memoria de arranque que la misma App ofrece. Recuerda que no puede hacer un clon de un disco con más datos de Origen que espacio en el destino, hay que borrar todo lo que sobra.

A really great price point for a 500GB m.2 SSD. It has exceptionally fast load up speeds, my PC starts up before I can even sit down after pressing the on button. Very easy to install, a youtube video does the trick. 500GB is enough for installing windows, office and a few games and I have a second hard drive for more games/apps/files. The SSD has a flashing red light so you know if it's working or not.

I purchased a cheap 11 inch laptop - added the Crucial 500GB drive and changed things to boot on the new drive. It works a treat!It wasn't a difficult project. The SSD drive was easy to install and cloning of the original SSD drive was straight forward.The SSD is fast and compensates nicely for the small RAM in the laptop.
