Great shears for small areas. I have a couple of small grassy patches in my predominantly wildlife friendly garden. They will also be useful for the path edges on my allotment. I have small, arthritic hands and I have found them easy to use. I do wear gloves all the time gardening so I have had no trouble blister or pain wise. The ability to alter the cutting angle is a real bonus. I do make sure they are cleaned and oiled after every use and advise the couple of minutes it takes to do this.I have now given away my electric strimmer that killed baby frogs and also took the grass down to bare earth level in patches! Now I can see and remove any small creatures or in the case of the odd newt wait until they have trundled back into the pond. The grass looks neat, like a well grazed field. All in all I am a happy customer.

This is my second pair of these shears. They feel really comfortable in the hand and are so easy to use. I like the fact that you can adjust the cutting angle as well. I love the make so much that I also have the long handled grass shears too.

These were exactly what I was looking for easy to use and to rotate to different positions and very sharp!!

I have been using this product primarily to cut edges of the lawn. I find normal shears too heavy to use as I am now 80.These one handed shears are brilliant. Exceptionally good value for money. I have seen the very same item for sale in Gqrden centres for £30!

I use this product for cutting grass edges. In a scissor like action the edge of the grass can be cut adjacent to plants and hard edges such as walls and kerbs. It is much more practical than shears for neat edges next to obstructions

Very good Quality

I have arthritic hands and these grass shears are super light, sharp, and easy to squeeze with little to no effort. The cutting end can easily rotate to be flat or upright. The orange locking mechanism is well out of the way so it doesn’t accidentally lock while in use. Only usage will allow me to evaluate how long the blades stay sharp. I think these shears are a nice upgrade from my 35-year-old shears that are heavy and keep intermittently locking while I’m using them!

I used to go through a pair of garden lawn trimmers every two years or so, but these are excellent quality and have stood up to the abuse that they get. I do oil them with WD40 after use.

Cuts grass easily around difficult corners and curves. The locking button is at a place that often interferes with the right thumb. It needs a bit of adjustment by the operator to keep the thumb lifted at an awkward angle while using it.
