At first I thought I would have to return the case because the on/off button wasn't working. I took out the kindle and pressed the button on the bottom of the case and noticed that it didn't move at all. It was just stuck, and when I pressed it hard a few times it started moving. Put the kindle back in and it works perfectly. Touch screen works fine and the charge port is easy to open and close. My only complaint is that the case causes a huge glare on the screen. Would be five stars if it had a matte screen. Also, I actually followed the instructions and tested the case without the kindle inside. I sealed in a paper towel and submerged it water and ran the seams and charge port under the faucet for a few minutes. Not a drop got in so I feel confident using this in the bathtub and the pool.

Looks great and I like the heavy feel of it. Its a bit bulky so if you are looking for light this is not the way to go. On the other hand I tested the waterproof feature by holding it under the sink for a minute and no leaks.

Works great to protect but bulky and heavy. I only use it as needed as to thrilled with weight and size.

I'm impressed with this case. For the money it does the job, looks good and isn't too bulky. The protective cover doesn't impede my touchscreen's performance, though there is a slight "click" noise when I push down to turn a page, since now I'm pushing on the protective cover in stead of just the screen. But it's really no big deal unless your in a dead silent room and then you may notice it. I have no complaints.

I would have loved this cover, its light, water tight, and protects my kindle perfectly. The first time I installed it everything worked perfectly, however there was a tiny speck of dirt on the front and I knew it would drive me crazy, so I opened it, cleaned it, and reinstalled it. From then on the power button would not work. I probably reinstalled it 5 times, and no change.

It is as advertised.

wrong color

I wanted a waterproof, yet EASY to use cover. This one is not easy to use. I find it near impossible to turn he device on and off when in he case. Also, the case has already broken and the rubber elasticity insert that I assume is to protect against moisture has fallen out repeatedly.
