Great look, cheap materials
I purchased this coat to serve as part of a dark elf costume. It's perfect as a costume piece. It's extremely lightweight and billows with the wind which makes it a great fantasy piece. It would never function as an actual coat, however it's a thin enough material you could easily stuff it in a backpack or large purse which could come in handy.The sizing is fairly true. I ordered the small. I'm 5'1, a size 2/4, and a 32E. The chest is true to size though it's all in the front - the back of the shoulders runs a little tight. The waist is larger than expected (around 34") and I will need to add a button or take it in to get the fit I want. The hips have all the room you could want thanks to the draped shape. The length of the coat is fine (would also look great on someone taller).The layering is as pictured, and looks really good in person. The hood is very large and gives a great cloak look. There is an awkward piece of rhinestone trim down the middle of the back seam, but it's held on with a total of 4 loose stitches that can be easily removed.4 stars because while it works for my purpose, the materials are far cheaper than I expected. I paid $40 for this coat, when in all honesty it should be around $20 max.
