Beautiful shelf. Challenging assembly.
This is a beautiful shelf. The packing was very solid and protective. The variation in under shelf lighting colors makes it fun to experiment for best effect of different colors, considering ambient light variations. It took approximately one and a half hours for an engineer to assemble. It is capable of a raft of different levels of functionality, if you also download the Chinese app which comes with it. That would of course be the individual purchaser's decision to use or not. Giving it a 4 due to the length of time for the somewhat intricate assembly process.

Broken electronics, no customer service, sketch app
Mine came with a sharp cut in the light strip. The leds past the cut do not work and the ones just in front of the cut flicker. It's a do it yourself assembly thing and usually companies are pretty good about sending a replacement part so they can avoid a total product exchange. Not so here. There's an email address in the box but it's completely ignored. Also, the app for this is called magic latern and it's very sus. I got an error when attaching a photo to a txt "magic latern is having trouble running" I hadn't used it in weeks. It should have been in deep sleep and why in the world would it crash while I'm working in messaging app?

Problem solved.
The lights only worked for a month. Now I can't get any support. The phone number doesn't work, and I've gotten no response from two emails. UPDATE: After getting the correct contact information for customer service I have working lights again. The lights were also an upgrade from the previous set. This was taken care of free of charge.
