Bostitch Office InJoy Spring-Powered 20 Sheet Stapler, Eco-Friendly, Black

This is the best stapler in the world! It's very light and it has a spring. You don't have to press down hard. It makes stapling papers and things onto the bulletin board so much easier!

Our old Bostitch stapler finally gave out -- the mechanism was just sticking -- and I've had the full-size PaperPro model ( PaperPro 1100 Desk Top Stapler ) at work for a while now, so I bought this smaller one for home. I figured it would be easier for my kids' smaller hands to use, and I was curious as to how the smaller one would compare to the one I was used to. This smaller stapler turns out to be just as good as its larger cousin and I wholeheartedly recommend it with a few caveats. It doesn't hold a full row of staples, and it's not that much smaller, so if you do a lot of stapling, you may as well get the larger model. Also, if you're used to non-PaperPro staplers, the loading will take a little getting used to: they load from the bottom rather than the top, and the instructions, because the diagrams are so small and picture-based, aren't really clear on this. Finally, as others have said, the stapler is loud. The PaperPro spring mechanism ensures that very little hand force is required to staple, but it makes a sharp click, which might be annoying in an otherwise quiet environment. All this said, I can't imagine using anything but a PaperPro anymore. They do a great job and they hold up. It's really a fine product.

All plastic compact stapler feels kinda flimsy, but staples nicely with very little pressure. There are no instructions included for how to insert staples, and it's not obvious how to open it to do so - one just pulls the arm up and back much harder than seems like a good idea, given the flimsiness, exposing the catch and staple channel.

This is a GREAT stapler. Hardly any work to put staples through as much as the stapler will hold (and sometimes you can cheat out a few extras!). We used one at home for years and it's been great, but we got one for the small store we run and it has broken a few times. The company was VERY helpful in getting us a replacement the first time and they are even offering to replace with a different unit this time, which I think is just wonderful customer service. I am going to give our Prodigy model (also used at work) a 5 star because it has never had any issues, ever. I think this is partially because there are more metal and less plastic parts. Overall this is just a FANTASTIC stapler for everyday use, and anyone who has trouble griping or squeezing or even is just smaller like children (obviously of appropriate age to be handling a stapler). Very very good pruduct with Excellent product support. I would give their company a 5 star rating all day, but the product itself is probably a 4 - 4.5 star.

I bought this because I volunteered to staple of paper strips to make paper chains. I wanted something that wouldn't tire out my hands and was convenient. It doesn't take a lot of pressure to staple. (Definitely can't only use one pinky though.) Also, it staples through multiple sheets as easily as it does two. I've never had to clear a jam. I like the built in staple remover and storage. It would be great for teachers. It does make a popping sound. However, only slightly louder than a normal stapler. It is so easy to reload this stapler. Worth every penny. Great job paperpro!!! (Tip: The place the staples come out of are set a little further back than regular staplers. There is a little arrow in the stapler that shows where the staple comes out of. In the pictures it is right before the "p" in "paperpro".)

I work in an office and there are days when I have to staple 100-150 different things in a day. I had a traditional Swingline stapler that was completely reliable and only jammed maybe once in 200 uses, but I was finding my wrists were aching at the end of the day and I do not want to give myself carpel tunnel syndrome. I did a little bit of research and this PaperPro stapler seemed to have fairly good reviews...especially when compared to the price I could get it for. Once I got it I noticed my wrists weren't straining as much and I rarely have any pain anymore...unfortunately, I'm afraid my blood pressure is rising through the roof! Every three or four staples will either jam up the stapler, come out with half of the staple folded correctly and the other half just flat or kind of crooked, or it just won't do anything and all and a completely undamaged and un-"stapled" staple will come out. It is driving me CRAZY! I would not recommend this stapler to anyone...ever. Now I just can't decide if it should go straight to the garbage can or head to a dark corner of the "lost office supplies closet" in my office with a disclaimer recommending deep breathing exercises during usage. I know it got some good reviews but I honestly can't figure out how...

What I did not realize when I bought this is that I was only getting a stapler and that I would have to purchase a separate box of staples in order to even see if it worked. What a PIA! Other than that, it is a nice little stapler. The pink is adorable and goes perfectly with it's cute small size. Easy to use and feels good in my hand. Love that I can store it vertically so it takes up minimal space on my desk. I would consider this a compact, light duty stapler. Works perfectly for the small amount of light stapling that I do.

Love the stapler, super cute, and I love that it fits anywhere and it also has a staple remover in the back and a different compartment to store your staples. The problem is there’s no staple size on the products. I’ve ordered two boxes of staples, and none of them are compatible someone please reach out and let me know what size to use. I think that should be something important that they need to list under the product. It’s kind of frustrating that it shows that it’s next to it, so you would assume, but still it needs to be said, and it needs to be in detail. How do we know what staples to use I don’t buy these staplers very often.
