EnerPlex Queen Size Memory Foam Pillows - Pack of 1 - Adjustable Fill for Sleeping w/Extra Stuffing - Machine Washable Firm Cushioning

I’ve had my EnerPlex pillow for a month, so I feel confident about leaving a positive review. I just purchased a second pillow too, because I FINALLY FOUND MY PERFECT PILLOW!!! Hooray!!Let’s face it, when you’re a HOT SIDE SLEEPER WITH SEVERE INSOMNIA like me, pillow shopping SUCKS!!! At first, it’s all very exciting. You’re so sure your new pillow will be your next great bestie!!! Who cares if it’s the 15th pillow you bought this year? You’re an OPTIMIST! Then you wake up in the middle of the night to the familiar nightmare of your head being ON FIRE!!! Seriously!!! I’ve tried a gazillion shredded foam pillows..... SnugglePedic, Eden Coop, Sweet Night, Artisan, Sable... some I’ve already forgotten because I gave them away. HOPELESS. Then I saw all the 5 star reviews for EnerPlex, a company I never heard of before, but their detailed description was compelling so I decided to give them a shot. Good Lord, AM I GLAD I DID!!! Aside from needing a pillow that actually stays cool, I also want what everyone wants: a well-made, quality pillow that feels luxurious and offers the appropriate support for your head and neck. Pillows that promise to “Never go Flat” always end up..... GOING FLAT!! What’s UP with that!??! Even the $100 Eden Coop went flat on me, after a paltry MONTH! It got so lumpy and misshapen that even throwing it into the dryer didn’t work. Ugh!! More money down the drain!! Plus it gets super hot on me, probably because the foam is clumping together, right? NOT GOOD. Enter the EnerPlex pillow! They promise to be “Never Flat,” as well as being the only company that ships their pillows UBER STUFFED, along with AN ADDITIONAL, GINORMOUS BAG OF FOAM..... FOR FREE!! WHAAA?! Out of the box, the EnerPlex pillow is soooo STUUUFFFED!!!! I mean, you’re literally staring at a CLOUD! I thought it would be too poofy for me, but I was WRONG! You lie down and think it’s too big, but the “Never Flat” technology is unlike ANY other shredded foam pillow I’ve tried. As a side sleeper, it is extremely hard to find a pillow that doesn’t crush your shoulder and ear while you sleep. You need a balance between support/softness, very difficult to find. EnerPlex, though, has this SPRING to it that makes your head bounce into perfect alignment, BUT!! NOT in a rigid, unnatural way! EnerPlex doesn’t FORCE your head and neck into alignment, it just DOES IT, all inside a soft, luxurious cover that makes you want to HUG YOUR PILLOW! I literally wrap my arms around my EnerPlex pillow, because I’ve never felt this level of comfort, softness, support, like someone is holding my head in their hands! Night after night, EnerPlex keeps its shape, I barely have to fluff it with my hands, any misshapes from my weirdo sleep positions go back to normal on their own! AMAZE! If I wake up from night sweats, my pillow is BARELY WARM. Even my Purple Mattress can’t compete, and that’s the only mattress I can tolerate. If I have a massive night sweat, all I have to do is turn my head to the side and WOW, any heat I felt dissipates in SECONDS. This is FOR REAL. I’ve never had a pillow that rejects heat in such a LEGIT way!!!Pros:- Soft, luxurious outer cover- Truly “Never Flat” technology- STAYS COOL even when you DON’T- Maintains alignment of head and neck without unnatural force/pressure- Superior quality shredded foam (read the description)- Fantastic Price Point- Extra HUGE bag of shredded foam for FREECons:- I didn’t find EnerPlex before spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS on other pillows!!FYI: This is a real review, I paid full price for this pillow (how do so many people get free products on Amazon?! I’ve been a member for YEARS!!), but I’m happy to support this company! I hope this review helps someone in the frustrating, often disappointing search for a pillow that actually DOES WHAT IT ADVERTISES. I hope this company becomes as big as their stuffed-turkey pillows! I’m in love, I think you’ll be, too!!

This is a BIG boy. The picture doesn't do it justice and is after I pulled out a travel sized pillow's worth of stuffing. Still huge compared to my other pillows, but let me tell you....oof. Ok so backstory, I have cervical spine issues and chronic neck pain and frequently wake up with tension headaches. I've spent a lot of money on different kinds of pillows to find something that I like. I'm a back and side sleeper so I need something that works for both, which is very hard to find. I usually switch out pillows mid-sleep whenever I want to shift. I previously purchased a shredded latex pillow that was awful for sleeping on but wonderful for hugging, but it only came about half filled with foam and I ended up having to sew the excess and make it smaller just for it to be "semi full". I was expecting that to be the case here but it's SO big. I didn't need to put it in the dryer as per instructions. It took about 10 seconds to go from flat to huge and there was another travel pillow sized bag of foam with it. For fun I stuffed that in there and marveled at its sheer gargantuan-ness (is that even a word?) for awhile because it was so amazingly stuffed, but then when I slept on it I took it out because I knew it was too much.Long story short, this is a perfect hugging pillow. Like wow...but I tried it under my head anyway with full expectations of hating it like I did the other shredded pillow I have and barely got my thoughts on comfort sorted in my head before I fell asleep. It's not lumpy AT ALL and it's so supportive but so soft. Granted it was a bit high for me and I had to take out a little more when I woke up this morning, but the fact that it's adjustable means that's no problem at all. It was amazing on my side. Best pillow I've ever used for side sleeping. I haven't tried it on my back because I know for a fact it's too fat for that right now, but I'm sure if you took the stuffing out it'd probably work for that as well. I'm seriously floored and the fact that I got this on sale (14.95) made it probably the best pillow purchase I've ever made and the first time I haven't been disappointed.Is it perfect? No. I don't think anything is going to be and I'll probably have my bad nights on this just like every other pillow I've had, but bottom line is it's a high quality, supportive, soft AND firm (can be both depending on how you stuff it) pillow that can be customized to the users needs and it's affordable even at it's regular retail price and for that I'm incredibly impressed.

TLDR: Excellent pillow but split the foam fill into maybe 4 zip pillow cases to wash and dry on high.I'm very picky about pillows and this one is very good. The ability to customize the amount of fill allows me to sleep on my back with my neck in alignment. I added extra fill when sleeping on my side while pregnant. I am very sensitive to chemical smells- this pillow has very little smell upon opening. I am switching over to this pillow for the whole family.We have 1 body pillow (great for pregnancy), 2 queens, and 2 kings. I stuff the kings fairly full and put sham covers on so that they are functional AND decorative. They make great support pillows for leaning against or putting under your knees.Ok, washing:I wash these pillows when I get them. Even though they have decent green certifications they are not completely chemical free and I'm pretty sensitive to things like that.Problem: If you wash and dry the stuffed pillow as is it WILL NOT dry. Low heat doesn't touch it. I've had a pillow on high heat for probably 5-10 cycles and it was still soaking wet in the center.Solution: Split the foam filling into maybe 3 additional zip pillowcases to wash and dry. The washing machine will be better balanced. The center will be more thoroughly cleaned. The foam will dry. You can safety pin the zippers closed if they are slippy. I've also used mesh laundry bags to contain the foam fill but make sure that it is a fine-screened nylon mesh or the fluffy bits will escape :/
