Great value for money, sturdy tripod with a lot of tilts and height adjustment.
This review is for TACKLIFE Tripod, 140cm (55") MLT01 Camera Tripod, Lightweight Aluminum Travel Tripod with Longer Height and Carry BagI purchased this tripod by TACKLIFE on the 7th of July 2019 and at the time of writing this it is the 7th of September 2019.2 months onwards and the tripod is still serving its purpose inTACKed. Haha..I managed to snag it on discount for a lot lower than £14.99 and despite its price it surpassed my expectations and I can say with confidence that it makes the ideal tripod for travelling. It is very lightweight weighing only at 599g and feels like you’re carrying nothing, fatigue is not an issue with this tripod which makes it ideal for travelling. Although, despite its very light weight its build quality is phenomenal. It is made entirely from aluminium which makes it very sturdy. The tripod's three legs extend from 405 mm to 1360 mm, (55 inches) making it very compact and easy to store at its smallest size and is very easy to get the height you need. You won’t find a lot of tripods of the quality, at this price range that offers 55.There are locks on each leg which add to its stability and can unclip to extend them to your desired height. My only issue with the legs is that they are quite stiff although you get over it fast. The tripod can hold up to a maximum weight of 3kg. Currently I have my Ulanzi phone rig attached to it along with a LED camera light and microphone which roughly equates to 2.5kg. It has shown no signs of tipping and remains stable at even higher capacities.Tilts are great, as it offers 360 degree swivel which can be stabilised using the grip. The head has a screw attachment that fits most laser levels or cameras and has a handle for easy manipulation of tilt and pan angles such as - up and down, side to side, or a full flip which is good for turning my phone into portrait mode.I love this Tripod and so will you, therefore I recommend it.

Works Well, Good Trade off of Functions
It worked well for my setup thanks. It's not an ultra stiff product but you will never get a product to be both stiff and lightweight and small to package away, so all in all I think this is a lightweight product that packages quite small and has adequate stiffness for most situations.I would not choose this product for use on a windy day or for use on a vibrating surface because it is not heavy or stiff enough to function well in those situations, but as mentioned it performs perfectly well in most situations so is worth the money.

nice
i am starting my own youtube channel and was looking at some not so expensive tripod as my studio gear (after spending a fortune on a camera) and this hasn't disappointed (much). For the price it does the job well, it holds my camera well, height adjustable and looks good. Its pretty lightweight which is good. The not so good things is its a bit flimsy sometimes, when i am trying to adjust the camera angles it makes sounds like its going to break (hasn't yet).I guess if you are just starting photography or new to using tripods and don't want to spend a fortune then you won't be disappointed with this, if you are a professional photographer/youtuber then look at manfrotto ones.

Very impressed, good for travelling with a small DSLR
I have to say I was very impress when I first set this tripod up, once the log locks were engaged the leg felt surprisingly solid. Obviously this is a 'lightweight' tripod so it's not going to be able to carry a full frame dslr with a massive telephoto lens, but for my Canon 2000D (which has a plastic body, so relatively light) using both the kit 18-55 lens as well as the f1.8 50mm prime lens it works well. The 'settling' time when legs and center column fully extended was about 3 seconds and with the center column fully down there was not really much wobble at all.In terms of height, when fully extended it almost puts the camera exactly at my eye level (I'm 5'7") so pretty much perfect for me. Obviously if stability is more important and I drop the center column down it is lower but still fairly comfortable to use. When I read the weight of this tripod on the description I was a bit sceptical as to how solid it would feel, but I can confirm that the weight of just under 600g is correct and from my previous comment it is also pretty solid. When putting it into the side pocket of my LowePro Slingshot 150AW single strap backpack the weight doesn't really affect the comfort of the pack or the ability to slide the pack around to the front (you probably need to look at the product listing for the Lowepro Slingshot Edge packs to see what I mean, but it is a really useful feature and keeps access to the camera nice and secure).I would not neccesarily have given it a 5 star rating for 'Travelling' (probably a 4.5) as the 'pan/tilt' head is a bit bulky when trying to slide into the side pocket of my rucksack (i.e. it has to go 'feet first' into the side pocket as the head gets a bit tangled in the elastic around the top of the pocket when trying to take it out) but it is really light weight for a relatively stable mount (it does get a little bit wobbly when you fully extend the central column but it is surprisingly stable when the column is down with legs fully extended). Obviously at this cost level the head in not 'officialy' removable (i.e. no thread to fix a ball head), but if you fully undo the 'tilt' handle the pan-tilt assembly will lift off and I've done a bit of diy with a 1/4" threaded bolt in the center of the revealed head to provide a mount for a small ballhead to use with my small dslr so that I can easily swap between the ball-head and the pan-tilt head. This tripod is slightly longer when folded than some of the 'ballhead' tripods available for about £50 (i.e. about 42cm as against some that are about 30cm when folded, mainly due to the other tripods legs folding up around the ballhead mounts) but this tripod is about half the weight of the lightest of them (i.e. 560g against 1.2kg) and about a 1/3 of the cost so I think the little bit of extra length is worth it.In summary, as long as your camera isn't too heavy and you are not using large heavy telephoto lenses this tripod is good for travelling with (especially if you leave the center column down) and very good for your wallet.
