Combing portion is joined to holding portion with weak adhesive, it seems.

I bought this comb thinking it's a good brand so it will be sturdy. However, within a month one of the comb has crack in it. And it was not even extensively sued! I want refund or a replacement for this comb.

Really nice comb. wooden combs do not produce static and hence less hair breakage. I can't comment if it is neem wood or not, but i love the free goodies those came with it. Value for money and sturdy product. Does not mean you intentionally throw it on the floor to check for durability. I have wavey hair which are decently thick. Works wonders on my hair. must try if you're looking for wooden combs
