It does not take long to realize that the selection of affordable and attractive lighting is limited to nonexistent in home improvement stores. Needing two sconces it was paramount that they were inexpensive to buy two and at the same time they had to look decent. Both theses are fullfilled by this product. Packaging was excellent and no damage happened to either sconce. Mounting hardware was compatible with the standard outlet box I have. There are two bolt heads that protrude out the back of the mounting plate so if you like me are not using a round lighting box be aware you need to make room for the bolts to sit flush. I used a spade bit to create the cavity besides the outlet box and it worked perfectly, just watch the speed so you do not go all the way through your drywall. The bolts that were supplied with the mounting were of adequate length and were the proper size so they fit in the standard electrical box mounting holes. Wire nuts supplied were not large enough for my gauge of wire and looked rather cheap so I used my own instead, which is the only complaint I have about the installation process and supplies. Glass shade is easy to remove and put back on (it may seem small but this is a huge thing for ease of use). In sum, these are excellent wall sconces and are just as attractive as those costing 2 to 3 times more.

This fixture was such a vast improvement over the bright brass, late-80's wall sconce we'd been suffering along with. It adds a touch of class to our back door hall. We're entirely happy with this purchase.

Perfect. Don’t hesitate.

We replaced old out dated ones. Had to put all new wiring because of the antique wiring that was in the house. That was the hard part but after that a piece of cake!
