My Coat's Off To Budapest
Firstly, I would recommend you look at a Tresspass Size Chart on the net before purchase to identify your actual size. Once that's done and you purchase the Highland DLX Jacket prepare to be impressed. What a super winter jacket. I deliberately waited to trial it in a down pour before writing a review. The jacket kept me perfectly dry and very warm. It's like being wrapped in a duvet. Though the jacket feels a little heavy when you first pick it up,once it's on its extremely to wear and the two way zip invaluable when driving. It is very warm - I've been out in it wearing just a t shirt to check out if it keeps me warm and it certainly does. I will be taking it to Budapest in February with a certain confidence. It's got lots of handy pockets and the hood is functional. I'm very happy with my purchase. I had cause to contact seller about sizing and to return a jacket and the staff were really helpful and the return went through smoothly. So if you want a robust winter coat buy one and if you want great customer care Great Outdoors provides this.

Robust, waterproof and cosy - but pricing can vary dramatically with price
"Hailing" (literally a pun there) from Scotland, needed something that was leaps and bounds better than a fashion brand jacket, one which was neither super nor dry...The DLX was considered after a long(ish) search and consulting their sizer chart from their website, as another reviewer mentions. The faux fur part is removable as is the entire hood, something I'll likely never do given it rains 3/4 of the year here, and lots of pockets too.People have mentioned it's quite heavy, but personally I think it's quite light! This is coming from someone that had previously had a string of light jackets and the odd duffel, I'm glad this parka replaces about three jackets. The XS fits me pretty well, if a little tight. The plus point here is the price difference - the XS was round £50, whereas the S as considerably more at £110! Even for the latter price, I was prepared to go the extra for a quality waterproof over any fashion brand or spend too much just for a more recognised brand. All in all, it works. Recommended.

windproof, waterproof, warm - perfect!
As someone who spends most weekends outside watching kids football, I knew I needed a 'proper outdoor' coat to keep me warm and dry. This is a terrific coat that has been great value for money. It's faced wind, snow, sleet, rain and everything else and kept me toasty warm and dry through out. Also with it being a quality coat it is hard wearing and no problems with zips, lining or pockets. One of my favorite purchases!

Great jacket - check size chart
Really nice jacket that is very warm and practical. I bought one of these after having to send back a similar coat of a different brand (manufacturing fault, and last one available) and I am quite happy with this as an alternative. The 2-way chunky zip works well, and there are plenty of pockets. It's comfortable to wear and seems to live up to its claims for warmth and practicality.Do check the Trespass sizing charts though. The jacket this was replacing was a 'Large' and so I bought the same size, but this one is a snugger fit and is maybe a even a bit small with a heavy top underneath. Checking the size chart shows that I'm at the top end of the L range, so I probably should have gone for XL. If you get the correct fit though, you'll not regret buying this jacket, especially at the price.

Great jacket
Lots of pockets, fleece jacket thats waterproof... fundamentally amazing.... got this for 40 quid cheaper than in the trespass shop which claimed it was 50% off (ah the sad demise of the hughstreet)... good purchase only two days pockets but very happy with it Very warm - perhaps this is the only drawback... over a 10k walk had to open up the front to cool down... but you know thats fine.. bought mainly as a work coat anyway. was a bit worried about 650 thin layer of down being sufficient but shouldn't have lovely and toasty. Big thumbs up from me. post note noticing a lot of loose threads now which I will at some point cut off. still love coat but finish isn't as clean as I would have liked ... 1 star docked!

Superb Parka. An investment.
After careful research. I decided on this parka as it ticked all the boxes. Waterproof, windproof, well made, down filled, detachable hood, cuffs on wrists, decent design. It didn't disappoint. It is extremely warm without being stuffy or sweaty. It has a weight to it being down filled but it isn't uncomfortably heavy. It surrounds you like a snuggly duvet.I've worn it for long walks along a wet windy seafront in below zero temps and I was warm and comfortable. I only had shirts or long sleeve t-shirts on underneath the parka but the parka did its job.The size is generous. I'm usually an extra large but that was huge on me and I was very comfy in a large. The parka is longer than my last one too.The zips are chunky and they work with a reassuring action.I know I will be keeping this parka for years. It's a classic navy colour so won't age.

Bargain for £120
Had this on at the football, it was 4°C, I was so warm had undo the zip completely, had tee shirt and tracksuit top on. Outside I was neither warm nor cold, will be interesting to see what it's like when below freezing. The button on the inside pocket was missing and a little bit of the stitching on the front seam was coming lose, think I'm just unlucky though, apart from that this is a very good quality coat and well designed, will last years. Waterproof, windproof and breathable. 90% duck down, some other brands were only 60%/65%.

Best winter coat ever with one small flaw
Absolutely fantastic winter coat, super warm and keeps you dry in the heaviest rain..Only let down by the (as mentioned in other reviews) awful zip. It does become a knack eventally but still on some days it can take 2 or3 attempts to get zipped in. Would still highly recommend though but would be nice if Trespass took note and put a decent zip in
