Lapcare 43Wh 10.8V 4000mAh 6 Cell Compatible Battery for HP Pavilion DV4/DV5

After going through all the reviews here, it creates a positive mindset of this Battery. But after using it for 3 weeks, it doesn't sound to be of that quality.I ordered this Lapcare battery 3 weeks back and now it has started showing me few problems. Like wrong charging status ending up a sudden power faliure of the laptop. I am using all practices to keep the no of Cycle not be affected. Like 25% to 75% of Battery uses. Disconnect the charging after 75% and charging it after 25% status. didn't overcharged it at all and hardly used it till it drained out.Now I would observe for another 4-5 days and gonna ring up their warranty service. lets see how does it go.

Just received the battery few hours back. Packaging was good. Although expedited delivery took 4 days to deliver.About the product: It charges quite fast but drains at a faster rate as well as compared to the original product. It's hardly giving an hour of backup. But considering the price, its "satisfactory". Just to mention that a couple of USB devices are permanently connected to my laptop (a pair of USB speakers and a USB cooling pad)Think of your requirements and then make a decision. For me, it is serving the purpose (hence 4 star, originally I gave it a 3).

If you are looking only for short duration ,it will be good. Other wise please don't buy. For me it worked very good in first 3-6 month after that degradation started . After one year the back up time less than 2 minutes.1-3 Month - Back up time : Same as the original more than 2 hours3-6 Month - 1 H6-12- Month 30 - 45 minutes12+ Months - less than 3 minutes

May be last 6 month i have been purchase Lapcare battery and know my laptop does not accept the battery and recommended to exchange it i am comfuse for what to do ?? Becouse the warranty period is 1 yr i beileve so please its request to change

Battery performance is okay. Gives back up of 1 HOUR roughly which is reasonably good considering the price point of the product. If you just wanna revive your age old laptop which is about to die. This battery is just right! No point in going for the og battery because cost of your laptop in the market also wouldn't even fetch you the cost of the og battery.

The only issue I see in this after using for 3+ months is that the battery shows as charging but only till 95%. If I unplug the charger and let this drain to 10% or so, and then charge this again, it goes to 100% then.Overall the backup is pretty decent.. which is more than 30-45 minutes depends if you are only browsing or watching movies along.

Its a good product i like it. Till now its been working properly and giving a battery backup for 3 hrs max. The packing was really good and delivered properly. A warranty card is also been given. Overall its a good one for the amount i paid.

I am using it for HP dv4 14 inch laptop. It takes 90 min to fully charge and gives backup for 70-80 min with average use. As it cost one forth of original hp battery, I am fairly satisfied with performance and hope it's remain like that for quite some time.
