She is so adorable in this vest, we swam all day yesterday and she just bobbed around with me happy as could be! She was so much more comfortable with a feeling of extra security, and me too, and the handle is just great to pluck her up or hand her off to someone when we get out !!!!!

Sadly for me, the XS was JUST too small and the Small was way too big :: But would absolutely have kept it had it fit my Dachshund friend better!

The media could not be loaded.  Timothy is a 5.5lb Chihuahua.His chest is at 14”.I ordered an XXS.The jacket fit great. The neck felt like a good fit with enough give to make it a bit bigger or smaller.The jacket JUST fit his chest/stomach with the Velcro. The clasp had more give.If your dog has a 14” chest the Velcro tabs will just touch. I still felt that Timothy was safe.I ordered it that way because he is a Chihuahua and I didn’t want to much bulk around his neck.I felt that the sturdiness of the neck held his head up great.In the video he is actually in water above his head for a minute. I did NOT try it in deeper water, because it’s a beach and there were a lot of waves that day and I wanted to be able to grab him just in case.I did look at a lot of jackets and feel I choose the best one for a medium price on the market.Enjoy:)

I have purchased one for my dog a few years ago. We recently got a new dog and I liked the one we had so much that I wanted a matching one. They changed the design. I like that there is more padding around the neck but I don’t like the way it’s designed. It’s harder to put on as well as the under the belly Velcro. The Velcro is the entire belly and not just straps. It’s VERY sturdy Velcro but with that being said, it’s VERY hard to get off. All in all it a good vest for the water. Just a few things I wish were different for ease

Nice vest for our little pooch. I wish the belly band was a little bit "tighter" even on the smallest setting there is still a bit of room. Ordered according to the size chart. Easy to put on, dog does not seem to mind it. Provides enough lift in the water and we like the handle on top!

My rottweiler is talk of the town in this cute life jacket. It's very sturdy and helps him swim .

It fits my larger Pom great! Have not tested the buoyancy yet but we’ll be trying this weekend! He’s around 13 lbs and the small fit great! I enjoy how easy it is to adjust and he doesn’t mind it at all!

Flotation with this vest is not for non-swimmers as flotation factor is not very high for our golden retrievers. It annoys them; a complete waste of money!

Of course safety is the primary concern for this item, but I'm not qualified to comment on its effectiveness in that area. What I can say is that the fitment is awesome, with locking straps as well as velcro which are secure and offer enough adjustability to tailor the fit perfectly. Making all of the adjustments took about 5 minutes, even though little dog was full of excitement to get to activities. Once adjusted, it won't need to be done again.Nothing about the design restricted movement or range of motion at all. She seems to not even notice it is on. These PFDs (I'm going with Pupper Flotation Device) are mandatory where I live, but aside from that, I know my little fuzzy friend is a lousy swimmer, and the peace of mind knowing I could just grab her by the convenient handle if she ever went overboard is well worth price paid.I haven't used others, so I have no basis for comparison, but I am happy with this purchase, and would recommend it based on my experience.4/5 only because the overlapping sections that wrap the neck are slightly (very slightly) bulky. I do not expect this would be the case for a dog with a broader chest however.Oh, and for all of you single guys considering this - I have never heard so many "aww"s and "so cute"s from onlooking girls in my life.

The sizing information was accurate and the XXS fit my small 3.5 pound Yorkie perfectly. Looking forward to some time on the water with my fur baby.

This is the most amazing product I've purchased off Amazon without seeing it!!!! The safety and security I have knowing that if my Pit (dog) falls/jumps in that I know she will be held up securely with this devise. Due to her age, she's starting to flip over onto her back while swimming and makes me fear that I might not be able to get to her in time if I turned my back for a second. Feeling not so confident knowing that she LOVES the water and could get caught off guard makes me worry even when I'm supervising her. There is never enough eyes around when you're in the water therefore....this jacket works WONDERS and keeps her on her belly to swim to the ramp and exit with no problems what so ever. I LOVE the neoprene fabric instead of the hard stiff material regular life jackets are made from that would also slip around while on you dog. This jacket fits snug, form fitting, appears comfortable and my girl LOVES wearing it as she can't seem to wait patiently for me to put it on her as she knows she's going in the pool!!! Best product and I would buy it again once it's worn out, would recommend this to ANYONE!!! Reviewed from one happy shopper and one happy pooch!

Reordered for a thrid time XXS and believe it or not, once again arrived in the size Medium, i will spare my self on any comments that will not be admissible by Amazon, but i think the people will be smart enough to figure out what words are coming out of my mouth.Re order the product for a second time with the size XXS, belive or not, i received once again a Medium size, returned the item once again to Amazon, hello i have better things to do then to keep placing orders and returning them!.My comments on my first order:Looks ok and good quality, but i was not able to try it on my dog in the water.Ordered a XXS and received a Medium size, was returned to Amazon.
