Ghosthorn Large Fishing Tackle Bag with Rod Holder Waterproof Gear Storage

This Ghosthorn Fishing Tackle Bag goes along side the fishing back pack i have. i use the backpack to go out fishing on the jet ski. this tackle bag holds the tackle horizontal so i don't have to keep moving them around. i only use three tackle inserts and have plenty of extra storage, including a small bait cast net, several spools of line, pliers, hook remover, filet knife, and much more. It works great for me and I'd recommend for any fisher save maybe a charter captain!

This is actually a very nice, rugged, durable, fabric tackle box. I recommend .

This replaces one I used that was not water-resistant (even just spray or rain) and had really cheap zippers that froze up, all corroded despite cleaning and care after nearly every use. It has way better zippers & looks to have better water-resistance - and the bottom is fully waterproofed. It has a decent number of pockets - I'd prefer a different arrangement, but haven't seen it on this or its competitors. Different colors would be nice, esp. bright to easily notice/differentiate it.

Great purchase

I was a little worried getting this tackle bag as I looked at some of the reviews of their other bags and some customers weren't happy with the zippers/build quality. This bag seems to have fixed any of those issues; the zippers are smooth and seem sturdy enough to withstand some abuse. I think this might be because this is marketed as a salt water resistant bag that they might have improved some of the build quality. This bag has a ton of pockets and storage locations for smaller storage boxes or miscellaneous items. The main pocket is large and allows for some of the large tackle dividers to be protected and fit snugly so they don't slide around too much. The carry strap works really well, I haven't put too much weight into this bag yet so I can't speak to what it would be like if you loaded it up with 30 lbs of gear and water and such. There are also handles that you can use to hand carry the bag which makes it easy to just pickup and move. The build quality seems to be great, I really like that the bottom of the bag is solid and isn't just fabric; this should help the bag keep it's shape even if it gets wet. Also this makes it a lot easier to brush off sand from the bottom. Pros: -Zippers -Handle and shoulder strap -Water bottle holder -Build quality -Solid Bottom -Multiple Pockets Cons: -Currently none Overall, I would recommend this bag if you're looking for a good value bag that performs well I would recommend this bag! I will continue to update this review as the bag gets more use; it hasn't been abused yet but will update as I continue to use it.

Recently got out for the PA Trout Opener and got to use the Ghosthorn kit. Having 2 kids with me, I was carrying quite a mix of tackle (they each have to have their own of course), worms, Powerbait, etc. Plenty of space in the bag to carry it all and keep it all separated too. Really liked the outer coating that really just wiped mud right off of it.

This bag was created as a fishing tackle box which keeps getting stolen by my daughter who travels across the country on short trips for work. This bag is the perfect size to load and abundant amount of fishing gear, but also an extra pair of shoes a day and a half of clothing along with toiletries and still keep it small footprint. I think I may end up submitting and just letting her keep it but it’s very useful. As far as the design, the engineers hit a home run. It’s the perfect combination between heavy duty zippers quality, high strength, stitching, and the decision to use a heavyweight nylon for longevity. It truly is the perfectly designed bag that can be used for fishing or travel. I also feel this would be a prime tool bag that would hold just the essentials. It’s just that perfect. If I could give it more than five stars I would, but for now this easily hurts the five stars in my endorsement to finish your shopping and hit the order button.

This bag is perfect. Its hold 4 standard depth 3700 sized boxes easily in the main pocket. Surrounding that are pockets on each side that hold all your accessories, line, scales tools, weights, and even has a pocket for a frosty beer. There's even one on top for quick access to those frequently used items. It has hand carry straps as well as an adjustable shoulder strap. Best of all, it feels very premium. The quality of it is obvious in its material selection, method of manufacture, and overall field duty feel. You will not regret picking this one up, especially given its attractive price which at the time of writing this review is less than 50 bucks!
