My dog IS the only reason I get up early so this mug fits me perfectly.
I love the saying. You can take it several different ways so it works for anybody. Maybe somebody doesn't want to get up cuz they're depressed or maybe somebody doesn't want to get up because they are night person or maybe somebody doesn't want to get up very early or maybe somebody doesn't have anybody in their life and their dog is the reason they love their life now.

I love this mug
I love this mug! I was looking for a funny dog coffee mug for a friend who has a German Shepherd rescue. She is a real "dog mom." I know how much she loves her dogs and this mug is perfect for her!I am always hesitant about buying breakable stuff online because I know how they throw packages around in the mail. I've ordered mugs from Amazon before and received them broken inside a cardboard box with no cushion. I loved how this mug was packaged. It came in a white box with a Styrofoam container in it that protected it from any damage.I didn’t even realize that the design would be printed on both sides and there are cute paw prints in the middle of the mug that you don’t see in the product photo.Very happy with the purchase!

Cute size with a cute message
I got this for my brother-in-law for my family's secret santa because it's so true! He and my sister have a red retriever who, while a total sweetheart, will wake everyone up at 5am with a single bark, and he always ends up pulling the short straw and having to get out of bed. It might be just the tiniest bit small in his hands since he's a tall guy, but I love how the text is on both sides of the mug

The cup is cute; but too small
I like this cup because it is cute. But it is too small for a decent coffee mug. I like a mug that is larger than an 8 oz cup. It is sturdy and decent quality; just too small
