do they reduce noise if batteries are dead?

Yes, these have an NRR of 23 dB so you would have, in theory, 23 dB of Noise Reduction if the Batteries were "Dead" or if the Volume was turned "Off". Keep in mind, OSHA applies a derating factor (you have to subtract 7 and divide by 2) so (23-7)/2 = 8 dB derating, thus your true Noise Reduction would be 23-8 = 15 dB (according to OSHA which takes into account real-life issues like, hair, glasses, not a perfect fit, which all would diminish the true effectiveness. So if you are shooting a handgun with a 140 dB level, the perceived sound level with these muffs would be 140-15 = 125 dB.

Do these have an audio jack

Yes, I bought a 3.5 mm to USB-C conversion cable (Amazon) and hooked it directly up to my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G phone and the music clarity was amazing - I'm not an Audiophile but I developed Audio Codec Algorithms/Software years ago so have some background here. I decided to play the Trailer from Beauty and the Beast (something that was very popular when my oldest daughter was young) because it has some great dynamic range. I would go so far as to say these Walker Razor Slim Electronic Muffs are off the charts, especially at their price point. Keep in mind that you need to have the Volume knob turned on (doesn't matter at what level) in order for the sound from the 3.5mm jack to reach the Muffs.

The specs say - sound amplification yes - does anyone know what the amplification is? some competitors say 3x or 5x.

I purchased both the Walker Razor Slim Electronic Muff and the AXIL TRACKR Electronic Muff for comparison purposes. I haven't found any spec on the Walker's but the AXIL TRACKR's have 8X Amplification which is noticeably greater than the Walker's. I would estimate the Walker's to have around 4X or 5X Amplification. The Walker's stay true throughout the Volume control range whereas the AXIL TRACKR's start producing weird artifacts as you increase the Volume. Hands-down, the Walker's produce better Sound Quality.

Amazon Almanya’dan aldım. 1 hafta içinde geldi. Ürün orijinal tabi. İlk taktığınızda dış sesler hoparlörden geldiği için tuhaf hissediyorsunuz yarım saate adapte oluyorsunuz. Stereo değil olmasınada gerek yok bence. Normalde duyamayacağınız kadar uzaktaki sesleri bile çok rahatlıkla duyabiliyorsunuz. Ses ayarı yapabiliyorsunuz. Silah ya da tüfek patladığında o sesi rahatsız olmayacağınız şekilde duyuyorsunuz. İki kişi kullanacaksanız aynı markanın telsizini alıp bağlayabilirsiniz ama hiç gerek yok. 20-25 metre uzaktan çok rahat iki kişi iletişim kurabiliyor. Atıcılıkla uğraşıyorsanız şiddetle tavsiye ederim.

Worth the Price

Absolutely worth the price. I have had these for a few months now and I have not noticed anything majorly bad with them. As someone with larger ears, after an hour or two they can start being uncomfortable, however it is never painful. More so fatigue. The entire headset is very high quality. The band has a very good compression on your head and is not uncomfortable with a hat. The battery life seems good so far. For outdoor use, these would probably be fine by themselves. However, if you attend indoor ranges, I would suggest doubling up with orange foamies. The electronic hearing is a nice feature. The muffs do a great job at quieting the loud noises while keeping your ability to hear others. Clearly these don't have the highest quality sound but the most important fact is that talking voices rarely get muffled.
