The material seems to be of good quality. I wouldn't go as far as military ...
I have this packed with 12 days ( for 2 ) of freeze dried food. The material seems to be of good quality. I wouldn't go as far as military quality, but short term looks good.

Over all I do recommend this bag
This is a well built bag, I have used it few times for camping and it will hold many things. I am very fond of the bottom punch that zips out for more space. Over all I do recommend this bag.

Chest strap is bad
So far the bag overall is decent but the buckle that goes across the chest got stuck on a hike and I couldn't get it off so I had to bust it just to be able to get the pack back on comfortably. I am just anxious to see what the next issue will be.

Recon delta go go
This is one tough backpack, it's made with some very strong stitching. It comes with a detachable pack on the front which is large in its own right. The molle webbing is amazing and is made very well it can hold all sorts of items. The back back is made in mind with a 3 day camp or hike. I am currently disabled so I use it for traveling and it holds all my electronics and toiletries very well. The detachable pack holds more than enough toiletries to last me a month. It also comes with a place to put a unit or any other type of Velcro patch you would like on the front. I can't state enough how much I like this back pack, it's definitely made with ruggedness in mind.

Perfect B.O.B or 72 hour disaster bag!
I purchased this backpack to put together a 72 hour emergency preparedness kit. I shopped around and looked at several different bags. I didn't want a monstrous pack but I wanted something that was decent size and could hold everything I need. Especially considering this would be the primary pack for my whole family. I wanted something durable but I was also trying to put together a kit on a budget (hopefully it will never get used). I really liked the looks of this back pack but I was very confused by the size rating as it says 31 L to 82 L. After all, what the heck does that mean? This caused me some hesitation but I went ahead and purchased it.This is an amazing pack and perfect for what I need it for or as a large hiking pack or small weekend camping pack. The reason the size varies so much is because there are so many adjustments and expansions. There is a separated zippered compartment on the bottom of the bag that when expanded adds about 6" to the bottom of the bag (It is expanded in the attached pictures and stands about 2 ft tall with it extended). It has a detachable pouch (approximately 12' by 10') that can be taken off for short excursions and can also be attached to the pack using several included straps to help you secure extra gear in between that and the main pack. The backpack is covered with loops, D rings, buckles/straps, and Velcro that allow you to configure and easily detach from this pack in countless formations. The Molle webbing system allows you to use any of the associated products such as added D rings, etc.The material seems very thick and durable. The backing of the material seems to have that rubber coating that is often associated with ewater resistant packs (although I CAN NOT verify that as it does not give me any information that I can find). The stitching seems good and both it and the material seem like it will hold up to a fair amount of abuse. Their is a zippered area that has a support board and is padded for your back for comfort on long hikes. It also has both a waist strap and chest strap to reduce shifting and movement during travel for added comfort and less fatigue. A simple but often overlooked feature of this back pack is a heavy duty hand strap on top which is useful for loading a bag in and out of vehicles or a short distance across camp or the house. This back pack met and exceeded every expectation I had for an emergency pack. I received this item at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest review. I am not required to leave positive feedback and the discounted rate had no bearing on my review of this bag.

On the back is a zippered hydration pouch that is separated from the main compartment for easy of storage
I have found my definitive camping backpack! The Army X crew cab backpack that I received at a discount for review is excellently designed with a LOT of features that will come in very handy. The main compartment is huge, with a smaller inner webbed pouch towards the top to hold smaller essential items. On both sides are long zippered pockets to store small personal tents/water bottles, if you wish. On the back is a zippered hydration pouch that is separated from the main compartment for easy of storage. On the bottom of the pack is a zippered compartment that is collapsible/expandable, depending on your need. Then on the front is a smaller shoulder-bag sized zipper bag that can either be tethered to the main bag via the buckles, OR can be used separately with its own shoulder strap, essentially giving you two bags for the price of one! I love the fact it has MOLLE webbings ALL around the bag for easy attachment of other bags and accessories. The shoulder straps/ab straps are wide and sturdy (2-inches wide) and easily adjustable. Carry handle on top, wire/headphone outlets to either side of said handle, luggage ID pouch on the back, morale patch velcro backing on the front round out this very sturdy and versatile package! Works perfectly with the YDO Tactical Bag Accessories for MOLLE Webbing Attachment Backpacks 12 pcs (on Amazon). I would definitely recommend giving this backpack a try!
