Expensive but excellent pan. Very durable and sized for one-pan family dinners.

I have other GreenPan pans and love them, but I wanted (needed) a taller one. This Chatham stainless steel non-stick pan felt hefty and high quality. I cooked about 2 lbs of chicken thighs, and they browned up nicely and cooked evenly. Cleaning up was a breeze. Make sure to follow the directions and use maximum of medium heat. They also recommend using silicone cooking utensils.

For many years we used Calphalon cookware. As warnings about the possible toxic effects of the coating started to emerge, we went in search of sturdy cookware that was "green" and eco safe. We are completely satisfied with this saute pan and will add pieces as we go.

I use this on low to medium heat with oil and always preheat before cooking but recently has very noticeably lost its non stick property. Room temperature eggs started leaving a sticky ring not too long ago and is now just sticking wholely. The surface looks just like new but just doesn't cook the same way anymore. It's alright, still cooks most food just fine, just disappointed nonstick degrades over time.
