Best looking tyre in 140/70 section tyres π₯π₯
Any Dominar 250 owners or any other riders looking for an upsize than go for these. Trust me u will never need 150section tyres if u get this. Broader looking from the rear and also chunky from side view. Looks 10/10. I had apollo s1 radial tyre 140/60 which had excellent grip bit that looked so tiny in my dominar so shifted to these contigos. Now talking about the price its descent. I got it for rs3499 which is little costly than how others have purchased it for cheaper than mine. Now about performance i rode this morning for 100+ kms and its was good. Descent grip in corners and good braking in dry roads but i havent tested riding in wet conditions so donno. Again dont campare it with those radial tyres like apollo nd michilens coz it has descest grip for now which is sufficient for. Descent grip as if i do corners regular whenever i get any twisties but not to an extreme level lean which it will loose grip since its not radial its hard compound tyre. Dont believe some the review which say very bad tyre. They just compare these tyres with radial ones nd later bash on these budget tyres.I will update after clocking some Kms so have fun withese contigos π€

Was decent initially but not anymore
A very good tyre for ns 160 (dual disc) the even tho the rim is a bit smaller at 2.5 inch width , the tyre fits very well, no modifications are required, it doesn't touch the mudguard, chain or the swingarm, but people with ns 160 with drum break , I don't recommend this tyre as the rim is even smaller at 2.15 inch width and it will touch the chain. Talking about the tyre, there is literally no difference in ride feeling, it feels exactly as stock mrf 120/80. The pickup is same as before, don't care about milage but i don't feel any difference . The overall ride quality feels better. Bike feels much stable at higher speed and is friendly on corners. The dry grip is very good, the wet grip isn't bad either. It's kinda average.Update: it's been almost half a year since i bought these. The tyre is still doing great. It's not very great for cornering but it's good enough if the tarmac is dry and clean.the overall dry grip is above Average. If racing is your thing, don't get this. But if you want a decent tyre for genral commuting and touring. This one is a great buy since it has hard compound, the tyre will last you very long. Haven't really tested wet grip extensively since it's not monsoon yet. I'll update this in a few months once i test it.Update 2: it's been 1.5 years and i have zero punctures. No changes regarding dry grip but the wet grip is very basic. during monsoon I've locked my rear tyre bunch of times even with slight breaking. So this gets a 2.5/5 in wet grip department and 3.5/5 in dry grip department. I wouldn't recommend this tyres if you are an enthusiastic rider who loves to hit the rev limiter everytime because the grip and breaking performance isn't sufficient for that kind of stuff. Lets say this is just an average commuter segment tyre.Update 3: (after 1.7 years) changing my rating to 1 star because the tyre has developed a swelling. Now i have no choice but to replace the tyre. The swelling didn't occur due to overfilling of air, i always maintain standardized pressure so this is definitely a manufacturing defect. I won't be purchasing new one from this brand anymore.

Okay on dry roads, horrible on wet roads!
Horrible on wet roads... almost dangerous!Otherwise, okay on normal conditions, cannot really complain at this price point.Road grip is medium, tread life seems to be good - done close to 5,000 KM so far.Good for touring and street riding until the roads are dry, be very careful on wet roads.Turn down the tire pressure to 25 PSI on the front and 28-29 PSI on the rear if you want slightly better wet-grip and ride comfort. If you ride often on wet roads, you're better off spending a few more rupees and buy radial tires.I'd recommend the Michelin Pilot Street Radials, exceptional wet-grip and lasted me over 25,000 KM.

Best balance of wet and dry grip
Good dry as well as wet grip, though 70 tyres are bit tight on the Fz16. Michelin ones are slightly better on dry grip but worst in wet... My usage being in kerala is on monsoon affected roads, so this this the best of both worlds... Wet and dry.. Also it doesn't puncture easily..My first was the revzz which is by far the worst one for me. Zero grip in wet, got more than 10 punctures before I replaced.Second was pirelli sport demon, which even though pricy was wonderful. Super grip in dry and okish grip on wet. But got couple of punctures. Then for michelin 3.5k one. It was good in dry, not as much as the pirelli.. But wet was even worse. And I move to contigo from a local store. It was good in dry.. Almost as good as the mis. But the good thing was its nearly as grippy on wet road as well. Also won't puncture easily. This time got the same contigo from amazon.
