This recycling truck is extremely robust and super well made. It can definitely take the typical rough play of toddlers. I have given Green Toy products to friends because I love that they’re made of recycled milk jugs, plus the products are well designed and doesn’t look like your typical cheap/tacky looking toys. It may not be the cheapest toy on the market but it definitely offers excellent value. This truck is really built to last and will accompany little ones with their imaginative play for many years to come.

These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

My 3-year-old son loves this truck and can’t get enough of it. It’s really well made and great quality, like all Green Toys products. Durable, safe, and keeps him entertained for hours. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my son for his second birthday. His twin sister, got the Green Toys Dump Truck, Pink I have been in love with these toys since we were given Green Toys Seaplane, Yellow about a year ago. They are a huge hit at our house with my babies, as well as any little friends who visit. I like the fact that these toys are made from recycled materials, but what we love most is the durability. We have had the dump truck and recycling truck for six months, and the plane for about a year, and they all look like new, even with daily play from two rambunctious toddlers. The colors are bright, and because the toys are made from colored plastic, there is no paint to rub off. The size of the cars/trucks/planes are perfect for toddlers. I also love the simplicity of these toys. I want my kids to have toys they can play with and use their imaginations with. I feel like kids have enough stimulation in their worlds as it is, without adding to it with battery operated, flashing, noisy toys. We are continuing to add to our Green Toys collection, and I have no doubt that the Green Toys we own will make it through our twins, as well as our younger baby. I applaud this company for making durable, quality toys and I for one, will continue to support this company.

This chunky, brightly colored, apparently all-plastic toy is just perfect, and our toddler loves it to bits, proudly showing it to anyone who would look. The chunkiness isn't just visually appealing for kids. It means no small parts that can come off easily and become a choking hazard. That doesn't mean pieces can't break off, but the plastic seems very sturdy. The trash compactor bit flips back like a dump truck, and there's a nice door in the back. Two things that would have made this better: 1. Perhaps keeping the top of the compactor bit open. It's dark in there! Plus it would help a child access what's inside. Think: Fisher-Price school bus. 2. Unfortunately, this model doesn't accept one of the driver characters from another line of toys from this company in the driver compartment. Those are quibbles though. We now own SIX vehicle toys from this company. Highly recommended!

I take care of my grandchildren 2 days a week. As a retired teacher, I study WHAT I’m bringing into Grandma’s daycare. Grandma absolutely LOVES these green toys! More importantly, my grandkids, ages 6-2, love then! These toys are different than others because they are so sturdy and have such a different “feel” to them. They are a good size for little hands. They have taken the abuse a preschooler can put them through, water, dirt, sand and crashes. I have purchased the helicopter, tractor, dump truck, TWO garbage/recycle trucks and am now adding the car carrier. My two 2 year old grandsons have a fascination with garbage trucks, so I had to get 2 of them to allow each of them enough playtime, and save my sanity! I am also a firm proponent of recycling, so these toys definitely meet my beliefs. It’s actually hard to believe they’re made of recycled material. They’re such good quality. Another plus is the fact that there is no rusting and my grandkids definitely play with toys in the water. I would like to see some “glued-in” drivers included with all vehicles. The helicopter had a driver but I glued him in BEFORE letting the kiddos play with it. It would have disappeared otherwise!

Bought as a gift for my grandson for Christmas. He spent a good part of the day playing with it. Adding things to its large container space and "driving" it all over the house. Very sturdy as he was leaning and even sitting on it. Great toy for toddler play.
