Say goodbye to dog barking at people
My dog enjoys barking at people as they walk the sidewalk in front of my house. Sure curtains helped a little but my dog could easily push them out of the way. I found this and thought, why not give it a try. It’s easy to install. They give you all the tools you need: a squeegee, spray bottle, and a box cutter to help cut the film. Now, the hardest part was measuring the film to size the window. My window is HUGE so it took awhile to get it all done but so worth it. Once you’ve cut it to size, you make sure your window is clean of any dirt, dust, etc. Spray the window with soapy water mixture apply the film and use the squeegee to remove any air bubbles. Make sure it’s in the right place and go onto the next piece. Continue doing this until your window is covered. This one is frosted so it’s hard to see anything outside from inside the house and from outside the house. This is perfect especially since I was renting and couldn’t really do much else to the window. Once I was ready to leave, I just peeled off the film and cleaned the window. Easy install. Easy removal.

Great Privacy Film — Easy to Apply!
Excellent quality window film. It clings smoothly without glue, leaves no messy residue, and gives a sleek, clean frosted finish. Highly recommended for bathroom or entryway windows!

This is exactly what you’re looking for - easy to install privacy film
Everything you need to install well is included in this kit. I’m horrible with applying decals and screen covers, but this went on our window so smoothly. The instructions say to use a lot of water, and I can confirm drenching the window and the film allows for easy application. And the price was great. The appearance is opaque enough for privacy while still letting light in. And I didn’t experience any edge curling due to the included razor for precision trimming.

Great film. Could be hit or miss on the included tool.
Film = 5 Stars. Provided squeegee was wedged so hard into the tube that there was no way to get it out without banging it out with a pole, which left it too damaged to use on the film. Had to use a different squeegee to make sure to not mess up the film. Would still recommend, but you might need to buy a separate squeegee if you get the same issue as I did.

A real bargain that works
Very happy with this cost effective fix! We have 36”x18” clerestory windows that top out at a 12-ft ceiling height. These windows face NW to W. Two of them were casting light on our couch and the wall behind our pool table, which made it difficult to shoot pool late afternoon to early evening. I’ve included several pics: 1 - what you get in the package, 2 - film has grid lines which makes cutting easier, 3 - instructions say to put tape on a both sides of a corner to help separate the cling from its backing, 4&5 - before and after, 6&7 - pic at 5 pm CST and pool table wall with no window light projected onto it. Pic 6 has 3 windows - the 3rd one is without the frosted film for comparison. If you follow the instructions, it goes well. The only challenges I had was separating the cling from its backing and wicking the water at the top of it. If you use the tape recommendation shown in pic3, I recommend trying to lift the corner at least a little with your fingernail or a paring knife or the like to get it started. Then, put the tape on, and it peals back fairly easily. Since you’re to spray the window and cling with water, you use the small squeegee provided and a credit card to push out air bubbles along with excess water. Due to gravity, I found wicking the water upwards to release at the top took some extra patience. I do want say it was nice to have the tools provided: sm water bottle, sm squeegee, and sm utility knife. Lastly, I use rubbing alcohol to finish off cleaning my windows because it reduces/eliminates streaking. I really think it helped ensure a clean surface to apply the cling. (If the cling fails in the next 30 days, I’ll update my review.)

Glass Window Privacy
I’m really happy with this privacy window film! It was very easy to install thanks to the static cling design, and I didn’t need any adhesive. The frosted finish looks clean and modern while providing excellent privacy without making the room feel too dark. It lets in plenty of natural light, which is exactly what I wanted for my home office. It also removes easily without leaving any residue. Great quality, good value, and a perfect solution for anyone looking for extra privacy.

Highly recommend
Super easy and looks great. Use a lot of soapy water and it’ll turn out great. If you don’t get it right at first, it’s easy to adjust and redo. Highly recommend!

It's too see-through for my liking
In general- I really like it, but I wish it was going to block the window more from the outside. Transparency & color-- if you're looking from the outside of the door to the inside at night with the lights on inside, you can still see more then I hoped people could. I wanted it to block the room completely but also let light through. It's pretty transparent though. There is this rainbow like iridescent look to it depending on the angle you're looking at it. So that's pretty, but I don't like that you can see through it if you try at all. I don't get a ton of sunlight against the door that I put it on, so I don't get the rainbow glare that other people have shown on here. Application- It was very easy to put up and get it to stick. I cleaned the window with Windex as I didn't see the directions, spray bottle, or squgee that were inside the tube. So I measured the window and then cut the film appropriately. By the time I had cut it all, I realized that all of the items to put it up were actually inside of the tube because they fell out while I was cutting. But I just used a regular spray bottle filled with water that I would use to spray my plants with after I cleaned the window. I found that the more water I used the easier it was to get it to stick. Then I use the squeegee thing to push all the bubbles out. There were only a couple of tiny areas that it didn't stick very well and I think that's because there was paint on the glass versus just glass. The only thing that was a bit difficult was taking it off of its backing. It says that once you have it cut to the right size that you can put a piece of Scotch tape on both sides and then use the tape to pull the backing off. I had to use "extra sticky" Scotch tape to do it. Otherwise the tape kept coming off without separating each side. But once the backing was off and the water was on the window it was very easy to get it to stick. Photos-- You can see in the pics of the door that I only finished half way what the transparency is like. My Halloween decorations are still up & you can clearly see them from inside through the window film. While it does distort what you can see, it doesn't do it enough for my liking. I'm not sure if adding two layers would be possible or helpful. My goal was that I could have my shears up behind this and then not have to have anything else covering my doors but that's not going to work for me on my front door of a first floor apartment. If this were on any other window then my porch door that looks directly into my living room, I would keep it in a heartbeat. But I was looking for something that made it not see-through yet in my living room.

Lässt sich gut anbringen, hält bisher bestens und der Schutz vor lästigen Blicken ist bestens. Bisher auch kein weiteres Schrumpfen festgestellt.
