I love the Jamaican anti itch spray that I use before I wear my wigs so I decided to try this conditioner. This is a completely different formulation than your regular conditioner. It has a stickiness to it that makes my hair feel sticky. You need a ton of it to coat your hair and scalp and I don’t have much hair at all. It smells delicious but it feels like I’ve put liquid candy in my hair! That said, when my hair dries, it does not feel sticky at all. I bought it to help my itchy scalp but since it has not helped that, I will not purchase again. For information purposes, I have Asian American hair.

Lately, I've had trouble retaining moisture in my locs, so my loctitian recommended this product. I was hesitant to use conditioners due to concerns about buildup, but this shampoo and conditioner combo left my scalp feeling clean while maintaining moisture in my locs. I also noticed less frizz and a softness I hadn't experienced in a while when washing my own locs! I would definitely recommend it to others.

I use this shampoo regularly on my locs and it’s been working really well for me. The scent is more minty and fresh than fruity, which I actually prefer. It gives a nice cooling, tingling feeling on the scalp that feels especially good during a wash. It leaves my scalp feeling clean and refreshed without feeling dry or irritated. I’ve found it does a good job of cleansing without causing buildup in my locs, which is important for me. It rinses out clean and doesn’t leave residue behind. My locs feel light afterward, not heavy or coated. I don’t use it every single wash, but it’s part of my regular rotation and I keep coming back to it. Solid shampoo if you’re looking for something refreshing that works well for locs.
