It’s a nice option that I found on sale. The scraper attachment works, it’s sleek and a modern design.

Great food processor. Good value.
I bought this when the bowl of my Cuisinart broke. And I found that it cost more to replace the bowl than to buy this whole new food processor. Works well.

Good investment
I bought this hamilton beach food processor for daily use in kitchen, its a versatile product which I can use for chopping wide range of vegetables from tough one like onions, potatoes ,carrots to softer one like tomatoes overall the output wattage of this machine is good. I like the one blade do all concept ,i have used many other food processors in the past which came with different blades for chopping and different set of blades for making dough ,but it was a hassle to store all the blades ,this one feature is really good. I made paav bhaji for which i have to chop variety of vegetables and which takes a very long time doing manually,i was able to do it in under 5 mins using this machine. It very good for dough making the side scrapper is a very unique feature which reduces wastes and afterwards cleaning efforts. I tried to churn buttermilk to make butter which also turned out well Over all do as it promised, good product Only downside of this is when you are using the shredding blade you don't have the choice to adjust thickness of the shredding or slices

Can't really go wrong for under 50 bucks
This unit is replacing a 10(ish)-year old Hamilton Beach food processor that I had a love/hate relationship with. Finally, enough parts wore out on it that I could justify buying a new one (even though, realistically, it was still working). I wasn't stuck on the Hamilton Beach name, but this happened to fit my needs and my wallet. I can't say the unit feels particularly high quality. In fact, when I first took it out of the box, my initial thoughts were that they somehow forgot to put a motor in it. The base of my old one weighed like 5 lbs and this entire setup is a fraction of that. That is likely the reason the quality feels lacking. The switch in particular feels only ok, but for $50, I don't really have room to complain. Strangely enough, I rarely use it for food. Instead, we use it to grind up soft dog treats into powder to sprinkle over dry dog food to make it more enticing. Enticing, to the dogs, not to us. It tackles this chore with ease. I've used it for making hummus and slicing up onions, and it handled both of those jobs like a true champ. The stated capacity is 10 cups, but as is the case with almost all food processors, that is only for dry goods. The liquid capacity is 2 cups, if you go by the line marked on the bowl. I filled the bowl up with water until it was spilling out of the hole in the middle, and it held 6 cups. So figure it'll easily do 4 liquid cups without spilling down the center shaft, since liquids are thrown outward when the blades are spinning. However, the top is not hermetically sealed to the bowl, so some liquids might dribble out down the sides on high speed if you push past the rated liquid capacity. Honestly, I don't know how so much power and speed comes from such a lightweight device. The motor noise is not horrendous, but I've only had one other food processor to compare it to. It is probably a little quieter than the old one, which is not to say that it is silent. The noise is more of a high speed whirring sound than the throaty growl of the one I retired. It's almost a hollow sound, which again, does not instill a lot of confidence in the quality. Perhaps I'm just partial to heavy tools. Performance-wise, I can't think of anything negative to say. The base even has suction cup feet on the bottom to keep it from jumping around the counter. The food scraper is a gimmick, right? I had already made up my mind to never use such an obviously far-reaching add-on before ever taking it out of the box. Then I tried it once. Honestly, I don't think it has been separated since. It doesn't scrape down below the height of the blades, but it does clean all that loose stuff off the sides fairly well. The scraper is just made of plastic, but it is well-designed and effective. I now have to wonder why this feature took so long to evolve. :) UPDATE: Over 2 years later and still going strong. We don't chop as many dog treats with it as we used to. The dogs are old and we have resorted to giving them grilled chicken breast, which we can only chop in small batches or it goes bad. So we use a small chopper. But I have absolutely no complaints about the performance or effectiveness of this product to date. UPDATE: Over 10 years later and still alive. Who even updates a review after 10 years? The food scraper broke a few years back, so that's long gone. The pusher thing has a crack in it, but I'm sure the culprit was one too many drops on the tile floor and not a design flaw. The rest of it is intact and still runs great. It's crazy that I doubted the quality of this appliance, and it ended up outlasting the original.

Kitchen must have
Awesome do it all device. The wife has thanked me every day she uses it for the last three months. Not only does it make meal prep easier but her hands hurt less and clean up is with the dishwasher. Awesome kitchen tool

Love it!
I've always had a Cuisinart but my basket had cracked and I was tired of the leakage. It cost as much as this to just replace the basket! So I opted for this model. I like how it is easier to store the parts. It does just as good a job and is much lighter to carry. Glad I took the risk.

Powerful, easy to use and clean
I have gone nearly 20 years without a food processor because my first one was so tedious to use and clean, I gave it away and never replaced it until now. The thing that made me buy this was the spiralizer for the squash in my garden. Honestly, that is just so-so. It doesn’t work as well for anything with seeds so our crook-necks kind of fall apart. You’d probably be better off with a hand crank spiralizer that cores out the seeds, but I hate buying things that have just one function. This spiralizes but just makes it more like long shreds and you have to stop to clean out the seeds if you don’t cut them out before you start. This is the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars. But, that said, it is awesome with everything else! It makes pesto in seconds. I harvested 10 cups of basil and this made a beautiful paste of it within minutes and I didn’t even have to empty the container until I was done. We will use it for hummus, dough, chopping nuts, shredding cheese and slicing. Super easy to put together and take apart and clean. No weird crevices to collect gunk. I am also happy with the quality of the machine because I bought it used-very good. The box was in shambles so I was nervous but the machine was pristine and works great and we saved $15 off the list price.
