The book is a must read. Many of us won’t like to read as it is about one’s life experience from a boy to being a lama. This book is for those who seek to know about life, its purpose and how best we can do good with ourself.-

101 for Tibetan Spirituality
I had picked up this book by chance at a friend's home and got hooked after reading the first few pages. Since I am an eBook person, I ordered and read the Kindle edition. The reader gets a glimpse into the lives of Llamas in the mountainous kingdom. After reading this delightful work of Rampa I was hopeful that his later works would throw more light on Tibetan Spirituality, sadly he disappointed me.

Read only for amusement not for scientific reason !!
Good book if read as Novel as stated by Osho Rajnishji or P V Vartakji The actual surgical process to open up third eye for achieving clairvoyant properties is little difficult to believe.Rest of the book is nice reading .However print size is too small and faded making difficult reading.

Product Review: The Third Eye
If you are someone who is interested in spirituality, astral traveling, and aura perception, then The Third Eye: The Renowned Story of One Man's Spiritual Journey on the Road to Self-Awareness is a must-read. The book is a coming of age novel about a young boy from a high-class family who is thrown out of his house by his stern father to become a monk. The author, Tuesday Lobsang Rampa, elaborates upon his own life as a Lama and reveals information about human existence and powers which is both hard to accept and refute.I first got interested in this book after a friend recommended it to me, and I must say that I loved it more than I know. I read it when I'm feeling low or depressed, and it always helps me feel better. The book offers a fascinating look into the Tibetan philosophy and religion through the eyes of the author. The portions in the book which talk about the neglected and forgotten powers of humans as universal beings are intriguing, although they leave a number of questions unanswered. The author writes in such detail that it is hard to doubt his authenticity, even though he has come under question since the book was first published. However, the Kindle version of the book I purchased has some mistakes that are not in the original, and it looks like OCR rendition without proper checking afterwards. Despite this, I would still recommend this book to anyone who is looking to gain a valuable perspective on life's biggest philosophical questions.

If this is not a true account, there are no true accounts
I read every word of the Kindle version. If this is not a true account, there are no true accounts of anything anywhere.Having personally walked over the Potala twice (97 and 99) and having taking Buddhist refuge from His Holiness the Dalai Lama and his Kalachakra Empowerment and the Bodhisattva vows from Him (and having been in His near presence 4 times), I feel I can speak. The childhood and training stories are totally in line with life in old Tibet. The esoteric powers mentioned are very real.Red China does not know the world, life, and powers of Tibetans they have disturbed in its take over and cruel occupation. Its only good is the spread of Buddhism out here where the Iron Bird flies. What a price the Tibetans have paid for this blessing to occur. Now, 2017, the Potala is turned into a Red Chinese visitors' curiosity as their fake monks patrol inside with walkie-talkies. Go there only to see what evil can do to good. You can not share the adepts' view of China's deeply horrific future, but that is coming, and Tibet will be free again.I am especially impressed by this book's factual description of the clairvoyant powers of insight into people, done by real adepts. If you ever visit such a personage, go with an open and honest heart for those, and any dire intentions will be seen immediately. Thus, beware being so known.
