Perfect for girls colored pencils. Purchased this as part of a gift for a 6 year old, she loved it!

Our girls love all things stationary and have multiple pencil pouches, highlighters, mechanical pencils, correction tape, etc. Our youngest saw this and had to have it as it was personalized with a chenille patch and a pretty pale pink with cream trim color. The zippers are smooth and easy to zip and unzip. When you unzip it, there is a small mesh zippered compartment on one side to place items she may want to keep secure such as notes and her lead, a flap in the middle where she keeps two pens and mechanical pencils, and a bigger loose back compartment where she keeps highlighters, correction tape, a mini stapler, mini scissors, and a few more pens and pencils. There is also a zipper to further expand this area. Our daughter describes this pencil case as being "preppy" (which is a good thing!).
