Bought for my granddaughter who loved it. Would have likes another key for the lock.

I love these Brynnberg treasure chests and think they are good value....have actually bought two different types now. The quality is a bit hit and miss - both times I had to return the first one received due to poor quality control. However, easy to return and quick refunds, and replacement items have been good. Are reasonably robust - my 5 year old plays with regularly and so far (6 months later) has lasted well!

Chosen by my 6 year old grandson for his birthday. A great buy and he is thrilled. He spent ages with me scrolling through the choices, measuring with the tape measure to make sure he’d chosen a big enough chest. He uses it for his shells, his treasures, his pocket money, his stones....he is over the moon! It’s roomy, sturdy and perfect for what he wanted.Two keys would have been helpful rather than just one...but a very happy customer!

Depending on what you want it for this box is not bad. It's not a good enough finish as a decorative object. The lines you can see on the picture are where the spraying process has been uneven and my item looks the same. It's made of lightweight wood and the finish is rough, so dust will stick to it too. It's not that strong but if it's not treated too roughly should withstand moderate use. I intend to coat it with a coloured varnish to improve the finish and practical benefits re. cleaning. It is a good size and the decorative embellishments are good. It's probably priced about right but I'd spend more if you want quality to avoid disappointment.

On Saturday 4th January we said goodbye to our beloved boxer bull mastiff stewie we had him for 12 fantastic years he will be missed.We were to get his ashes on Monday so we wanted something nice to put him in so he was always in view.I found this chest by chance and it has just arrived and it is just perfect his forget me not box fits inside perfect with his bandanna.Very well made for little moneyJust a lovely place for our boy

I bought this as a novelty as part of my daughters pirate costume. We filled it with chocolate coins and she handed them out at a party. She loves it so much that it’s out all year round and now she keeps her chocolate bars in it. She asks us if she can have some ‘treasure’ aka chocolate. It’s a lovely box and just the right size (though it stores a lot of chocolate) and it’s light enough that she carries it about (3yrs old).

I put all my receipts in this, and everytime I open it I cannot help but give a little "Arrrrgh".

This is a great treasure chest. It’s solid and well made, but light enough for my four year to carry about the house and pretend to bury! It’s large enough for him to fit in his telescope, coins, jewels and other pirate paraphernalia. He absolutely loves it!
