This shoulder rest is very adjustable to get just the right placing. But for me the most important aspect is the feet which collapse, so I can fit it in my bam case which has no dedicated space for a shoulder rest. It sits on top of the peg box and the lid seems to accommodate it.

rubberized contacts work great
the rubberized contacts where the rest clips onto the instrument work great. Better so far than the rubber tubing covered version.
