Aquaglide Airport Classic Inflatable Swim Platform for 1-4 People

We have a pond on our property that we swim in and wanted a floating dock or trampoline for it. The trampoline's we have used in the past don't really bounce unless you spend thousands of dollars and a dock is so much work to put in and out. I found this online and the reviews looked good. We got it right away, blew it up, attached it to a cement block at the bottom of the pond and let the kids have at it. We love this! We have had up to 15 teens at a time on it. Sometimes we keep it hooked up other times they use a paddle and the use it like a boat. We took it camping with us and used it as our own personal dock, instead of using the campground dock that has so many kids and so much rough housing on it. It was great. We have towed it behind the boat and it works well, although laying down you get sprayed in the face with water. My husband tied ropes with handles to it and the kids stand on it while we tow it behind the boat. Also bought the softpack. The angle isn't great for laying back on, but we flipped it over and hooked it to the side of the aquaglide and the kids slide across it on there stomachs into the water and run across it. Can't say enough about this, highly recommend it. Wish we would have bought it years ago.

Returned Product as we wanted the airport for tubing and this one is the older model and doesn't have handles.

We purchased this a few yeas ago. After the first year the cover started to rip and it just shred into strings. Mind you we only used it for 3 months out of the year. I call Aqualide and they asked if i used uv spay on it. I did not realize that i needed to so they replaced the cover. I used the new cover for one year and the next year i uv spayed it but by the end of the summer it ripped again. When i called Aquaglide they told me there is only 1 year warrenty on them and would not replace it but i could by a new cover for the price of $200. It was a nice product while it lasted.

We used this for floating only, on a small no-motor lake. We were mindful of the inflation guidance/limitations, and never came close to exceeding weight limits. A seam split in the inner chamber after a handful of floating outings.The cover is robust and attractive, but the inflatable insert clearly has problems with design or material quality.I'm interested to see if I hear back from Aquaglide. I will update my review if/when I hear from them.

The inflatable is durable and lots of fun! I would recommend purchasing some form of UV protection spray and a couple of small anchors. We had four adults with paddles on it and rowed out on it to the middle of the lake to watch a beautiful sunset~ it was an experience!

Nice toy for our local pond. Does not handle the weight you would think from the video and pictures. Great for several small kids.

I have had many inflatables and I thought The Aqua glide was the best. The Vertigo was wonderful, inside lasted, but after 5 years the cover split down the center. Since then I have bought 2 of these airports. Both the outside cover and the inside only last 1 year. It is only out in the sun on the week ends when in use. Otherwise we pull it inside the boat and deflate just outer chamber. What a waste of money. The material is so much thinner than the originals. Just picked up a used Vertigo off of eBay. At least I know I can get a few years out of it. Also bought an older crossfire. It is smaller, but made with the better material. Good Luck in your search.
