does it work just with the garden hose?

A car wash brush (broom) and a mop bucket works well for me and I have tried various cleaners on Vinyl siding to remove dirt and the gross green stuff typical in shaded areas. Just dip and brush it around 2-3X (repeat as needed), rinse with a low pressure hose. This method even works up on a ladder and preferred over a pressure washer because the strong blast of water can damage the surface.

Simple Green Oxy Solve can be used manually, mixed in a bucket. The ratio is 1 1/2 cups of Oxy Solve House and Siding Cleaner per gallon of water. For really heavy soils or buildup it can be used stronger if necessary. Remember, when storing the product it is best to keep in in a shaded are with moderate temperatures.
