HOMEIMAGE Rechargable Electric Wine Bottle Opener HI-36M1

After my old Oster wine opener stopped charging I needed to buy a new one. I ordered this one because it had a better look, no charging base, and I liked the blue glow. Once I received it I used it to open 4 bottles before deciding to send it back fearing it would breakdown entirely before a couple months. The motor in this is nowhere near as strong as my old Oster. Every time the corkscrew would bear down on the cork and begin to pull it you could hear the motor wine and struggle and the blue glowing light would dim to the point it was nearly invisible. It was obvious the opener was underpowered or cheaply made and wouldnt last. I ordered a new Oster opener and the difference in quality and ease of opening is quite noticeable.Pros: Aesthetic1. Looks great in the kitchen!2. Blue glow while charging and in use is cool!3. Foil cutter on top is convenient and well designed (It twist locks on BTW so I dont know why some reviews say it doesnt fit securely)4. No separate charging base.Cons: Functional1. LOUD! None of them are silent but this thing is a solid 30% louder than the oster2. Under-powered! Even brand new with a full charge it could barely pull corks. Wont last.3. Glow fades during use making it look cheap and weak. Indicative of motor struggling and drawing excessive power.In summary: Looks great, works poorly. Get the tried and true Oster or fork out the extra cash for a better version of this design, theres plenty of em.

I love this opener! My husband and I fight over who will open the next bottle of wine because we like using this fun gadget. I'd say about after 5 or 6 uses it'll slow down so you'll need to charge it for a bit. You also need a firm grip on the bottle cork to the opening spiral so that it'll catch and stay connected to open the bottle. I'd gladly recommend this to anyone and I'd lovingly give it as a present to another wine lover.

This is a very good thing to have around the house I must say. I've been torturing myself with the 10 year cork screw. This is really easy to use and a lot of fun actually. The Blue LED light comes up when you press the button. I didn't know that the top part is also a foil cutter until I saw the picture on the box it came with. The design isn't too bad. The manual says I can use up to 30 bottles per single charge but I haven't actually try to count. Very happy withe purchase so far.

I got this bottle opener because I love to drink wine. One of my friend has one so I decided to buy one for myself. First of all, I have to say it works great. Opened my bottle in just a few seconds. It glows up this blue light when it's being used. I have to buy another one for my friends for the Holidays. Great price and very practical. The Foil cutter is actually the top part of the opener. You have to twist it off but may need to be a little careful not to twist too hard.

This is our second HOMEIMAGE wine bottle opener. The first one we loved, and used until it died of old age. I anticipate that this one will give us the same reliable service.

for an inexpensive cordless opener it works pretty good. Charge doesn't last too long and it's not terribly powerful but it gets the job done. For what it cost, it's a great buy

This is an awesome gadget. My husband has been sick and between the both of us we could not open a wine bottle with a standard cork screw. We needed help. This takes off the foil on top of the bottle. You just stick the opener on top of the bottle click the on button and your cork is out. Reverse the button and it drops the cork. Loved it so much I bought this for my mom.

October 2021:I’ve had this for two years and it still works… but i have noticed that you basically need to charge this right before every use. Because if it’s not fully charged it won’t work. I just went back to an old school one that is really good quality. So that’s why I changed from 5 to 2 stars. It started not working without full charge after 5 usesFrom 2018:So easy to use!! I will say it did take a little practice to get it to perfectly go in, but it is definitely worth it.
