There is a plastic inner lid on the jar. Quickly take out a small portion and close the inner lid, then seal with the screw on lid. The product shoudn't be open for more than 2 seconds max.

Does the mask pull out blackheads?

If you mean like thise strips that people use to pull blackhead out, then no. This is more like pore cleansing lightly rather than pulling whitehead or blackhead out completely.
