Bestselling author Sasha Graham teams up with popular Italian artist Mirco Pierfederici to bring you a beguiling deck whose cards suggest a compelling story. As you turn the cards, you'll accompany the Fool, who finds herself inside a mysterious haunted house. Moving with her through the deck, you'll unlock room after room and uncover the mansion's true, romantic, and chilling tale while also discovering the Fool's forgotten origins. The companion booklets for most Lo Scarabeo decks are in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and German. Review: Is Now My Main Deck! - I got this deck a couple of months ago after reading the reviews, watching videos and let me just say this deck has some of the most unique, captivating and beautiful imagery that I personally resonate with! It still follows the RWS style in its own twist, and I love decks that have deeper meanings that can be brought into light. The whole deck is not all "doom and gloom" or "Cheesy" by any means, there has a brightness to it as well, very diverse which I appreciate. The cardstock is not too thick or flimsy, has a matte finish without borders (plus in my book!) and shuffles like a dream. I do collect decks for different types of readings, and this one has clung to me as my main for now. The energy it gives off is what I look for; what's hidden in plain sight. As darkness is a lack of information, it being put into light for information to be received. Each time I pick this deck up I get new information during meditations and readings and it's a constant expansion. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but when in constant motion, possibilities are limitless and this deck to me proves that. So much so, that in the near future I'll be buying another deck or 2 just in case something happens to this over time. =) Review: My favorite tarot deck! - I don’t have a huge collection but I’ve been on tarot kick lately. I have some expensive indy decks, some cheap but gorgeous mass market decks, new stuff, old stuff. I’ve been vaguely into tarot decks largely for the art since I was a kid, getting dragged around to the sort of book stores that sell them. This pretty much immediately became my favorite deck ever. I don’t understand the hate Lo Scarabeo seems to get around here for its card stock, it’s not on the thicker end of my cards by any means but it’s certainly not flimsy and it’s very nice to shuffle, especially for smaller hands. And if you grew up in say, the 80s/90s, hypothetically a night owl pretty much always, with parents who worked super early mornings, leaving you to sneak around to watch wildly age-inappropriate schlocky horror movies from the 70s on late night cable, the art in this deck might just speak to you the same way it does to me. That’s the vibe I get from this deck (and the weird nostalgia it ticks for me, lol) spooky, old school, so much of another time that’s it’s almost disorienting. Foreign, fairytale-esque. I freaking love it! The cards are borderless, it’s a fully illustrated deck, the art is haunting, no pun intended, it absolutely speaks to my memories of old-even-then horror movies from the 70s, or the covers of some of my mom’s older mystery/romances. I just can’t review this without mentioning though, my only issue is that true to those aesthetics there’s zero diversity in the deck, which is usually a deal breaker for me. In this case, the cards tell a specific story (it’s in the lwb) of the specific character (the fool) that other reviews mention, traveling through the titular haunted house, so many of the cards feature her, which at least justifies the (in this case, intentionally and literally) exact same white, skinny-but-busty-and-hippy, traditionally magazine-beautiful woman being on almost every card in the deck. Still, it would have been nice to see, in the ‘people’ she encounters, some other ethnicities and body types, just, you know, for variety at least?

Hauntingly beautiful deck
This deck doesn’t get the attention it deserves and is very underrated. It has beautiful artwork with a dark gothic vibe and is perfect for shadow work, it quickly became my favorite deck to work with during the dark winter months. Some aren’t happy with the card stock but I don’t have any issues with it, it shuffles beautifully.

What a Delicious deck!
This deck delivers! If you like the style and artwork like I do, you will get kick ass readings with this deck! Shes got a lot to say. The size of the cards are perfect, the card stock is a little thin which I dont mind..makes for easy shuffling. I’m not a fan of tuck boxes, but I’m not mad because this deck is just so delicious! If you’re thinking about it, Get. This. Deck.

One of the most interesting narrative decks I've ever worked with
I'll admit that I like to scoop up plenty of decks when they pop out, and this one was an instant pick just because I'm a huge fan of horror and haunted house stories. I've had decks that I jumped on this quickly disappoint before, but this one really knocked it out of the park. The narrative theme of the deck really works, for one, and I usually don't jive with narrative decks. The illustrations are absolutely gorgeous and even more importantly, there's no edge to break up the amazing, atmospheric artwork. The colorwork is perfect, the images of vampires and demons and angels and witches are all so nuanced that each card brings with it new and interesting connotations that I hadn't ever thought of before. I'll admit, I have a soft spot for a deck who can give me something new to see in the cards, or a new way to see the image that I never have before. I usually read with reversals, but I actually don't think I ever will with this deck; each image really encapsulates both the negative and positive aspects of the card in question and I found it really easy to take the right nuances without interrupting the image flow with a reversed card. I really can't recommend this deck enough; my only criticism is that it isn't a full kit; I would have loved to hear more about each individual painting, the story around and behind it, and the various characters and creatures throughout the deck. While I would love more spreads from the deck maker (because the three card that they included has become my new go to) I really loved what they already provided. As it is, the LWB is pretty darn good for what it is.

Magical Deep cards
OMG, one of my favorite, favorite tarot deck cards ever. The Artwork is magnificent and wonderfully crafted and when you read your deck it speaks to you in Whispers and in deep resonating tones that you will not forget. Came with a simple instructional book to give you more insight of the drawings and how the cards will relate to your reading!!! These cards are not for the weak, very deep readings will require these cards and I absolutely love them!!!

Beautiful deck
Beautifully illustrated. I like that they also tell a story on their own.

Amazing deck!! 😊❤️
I have been hesitant on purchasing this deck for over a year now, so I was searching for Halloween inspired decks, beings the holiday is coming up, and up popped “Tarot Of The Haunted House” deck, so I decided to read the reviews, they were all so positive that I decided to give it a try, since haunted houses, and all things spooky are my middle name 😉. I received the deck the following day, thank you Amazon, lit my candle, for incense and proceeded to go through the deck, first of all, I’m with a lot of who wished it came with a full size companion book, the deck deserves it, but the LWB does do a good job on the story line. The deck itself is so amazing, the artwork, no border, the satin feel of them which makes shuffling so effortless, but the storyline was so intriguing I played with them for a good couple hours just enjoying my new favorite deck, so glad I read the reviews, they are so worth it. 🥰

Wow-An amazing Deck-if you liked Bohemian Gothic Tarot, check this out
This is a stunning deck, very vibrant and beautiful artwork. It is enhanced by being boarderless and the cards not having titles, only discreet numbers instead but don’t worry it’s easy to tell which card is which as it stays close to Waite-smith symbolism but with a dark and spooky twist!Card backs are reversible. The major arcana tell the story of Raven,a character at the haunted mansion, cups are ‘’The Inspiration of Angels’,pentacles ‘The legacy of witches ‘,wands are ‘The passion of vampires’and swords ‘The pondering of demons’.The LWB is standard -multi language-Lo scarabeo sadly-I would of liked a proper companion book or at least a full 63 pages, the deck deserves it!So much detail and hidden depth is within it.One spread is given but on page 2 of the booklet there is another spread but no information about it,whether this is a printing mistake or they tried to give a mystery spread I don’t know. I adore this deck already and I only received it today. This is the closest mass market deck I’ve encountered to my Favourite Baba Studio Deck ‘The Bohemian Gothic’ and I think anyone who likes dark and gothic decks would enjoy this one-a deck that is interesting, somewhat strange but still perfectly readable.
