Dog ear wash works great
Great dog ear wash. Doesn’t stink. No vinegar in it

So far, so good!
My 4 year old TerriPoo seems to be allergic to anything & everything. On top of that, she tends to get an overgrowth of yeast (candidiasis) everywhere. Poor little thing is just a hot mess! One of the areas that is particularly succeptical to yeast overgrowth is her ears. She has the cutest floppy ears, but that floppiness comes with a price...yeast growth, plus fleas like to hide and/or lay their eggs in her poor little ear canals. I've been cleaning them with a mixture of water & organic apple cider vinegar, which has mostly done the job up to now. A few days ago, the poor thing was shaking her head & pawing at her ears like crazy. We were beyond apple cider vinegar at that point. I am disabled to begin with & have been wheelchair bound & shut in inside my home for the past 10 months. It is impossible for me to get myself out to my car with my car to drive myself anywhere...even her vet. I had to do something about her poor ears...I could NOT let her go untreated. I have used other products by Nutri-Vet with pretty good success in the past, so I decided to give this a try, understanding if this didn't work we would have to go to her vet. The worst part about my dog's ear issues is she is SUPER sensitive & hates them being touched under the best of circumstances, so I was apprehensive to say the least, especially considering I needed to hold her down & shoot liquid into her ear canal. Thankfully, I was able to get her to calmly lay down long enough for me to irrigate both ears & massage it in according to the directions. I expected the solution to aggravate her poor inflamed ears, but it didn't. She allowed me to massage it in as directed & even wipe the excess out with a cotton ball. She shook her head a few times...& stopped! This was hours ago & she has been sleeping peacefully ever since, which is a great relief to this nervous fur mommie! Will give her a few days with this to see how she does. My only concern is this this has a slight fragrance to it. It doesn't smell bad, but whatever I'm smelling doesn't cause an allergic reaction in my dog. Hopefully, this will continue to keep her ears clean & allow her to be happy, goofy little self! If it does, this will hands down be the best $8 I have ever spent. Dayzee (my dog) says, Thank you, Nutri-Vet!"

It works for regular cleanings.
I do rescue and rehab, so go through a lot of "basic care" items for critters. I really like this ear cleaner because it's a large bottle for the price, and it's also really gentle. I have gotten this all over my hands with open scratches and nicks and it doesn't burn or sting, and you'd surprised how many do! It's not really greasy either, which is an issue I've run into with other cleaners, but if you do get a bunch of it on your pet's fur, you'll probably want to take a baby wipe or washcloth and wipe some of it out so it doesn't get gummy. If your pet's ears are really soiled, expect to do a few cleanings to get everything out, but this does work to loosen things up over time. I've found it's best for routine maintenance cleanings though. If you have flop eared animals, ones with a lot of hair in their ears, with narrow ear canals, or a history of ear issues, you may want to use drops for swimmers ear after cleaning or if you see them shaking their head for longer than 24 hours after cleaning. If you don't get all the wax or debris out, this stuff won't evaporate out, and can leave animals feel like there's a bit of liquid trapped in there. 2-3 drops of "dry ear" or any other swimmer's ear product will clear it out. :) Other than that, I really like this product!

Works.
It's doesn't melt away ear grime, but it does seem effective. I wet the ear and then clean out with q-tips. Carefully. Then I fill the ear channel to overflowing and rub all around the ear to break it up. Then stand back because your pup is going to shake it all out like you wouldn't believe. You'll probably have to repeat this a couple of times over a week.

Works as intended
Easy to use for ears with no irritation or adverse reaction, no off-putting smell for dogs. Great value.

Half stars because I didn't need to use it yet. My dogs ears are pretty clean. Looks legit though.
