Great book for book study. Really makes you think and reflect on past and even future choices. There are discussion questions in the back of book.

LIKE: Uses stories to establish educational theories and their use in students to succeed. Very readableDISLIKE: A bit verbose. I have the feeling that all that could be said using a third less pages. But that also means it goes leisurely enough to assimilate these concepts.

This is a great read. I'm doing a book club with other teachers through our regional Supt. office and a former teacher. This book really makes you think about how you can help students.

One of the best parenting books I have ever read. Will help you raise a resilient child instead of one that quits every time something gets hard. I highly recommend this book. The only thing that could make it better is if it were available in an audible format.

I purchased this book for a book study group at work so I have only read the first several chapters, but I very much like the author's writing style and view point. The book was in excellent, new condition as advertised.

I enjoyed this book. The concepts were connected with Growth Mindset of which I use in my classroom. A book that will definitely be read again.

I got this book to help me with my students in my classroom and my own children at home. Hopefully it'll help me motivate children!

An excellent resource for both teachers and parents. Debbie points out some great insight into children's educational experiences and she gives some great examples. Her writing style allows her ideas to be quite clear. It is a must read for all.
