We’ve been buying Starbucks Blonde Roast Ground Coffee — Veranda Blend for years, and it’s consistently the coffee we keep stocked in our home. It’s our “house coffee” because it’s reliable, smooth, and easy to enjoy every day. The flavor is mild and very smooth, without the bitterness that some coffees have. I usually add a little creamer and sugar, but with this blend I need much less because it already tastes great on its own. Even friends who drink their coffee black always comment on how good it is, which says a lot. Another big plus for me personally is that some coffees can trigger migraines, but I’ve never had that issue with this one, so I feel good about drinking it regularly. We buy the 28 oz size on subscription, which makes it a really good value and ensures we never run out. I store it in an airtight container (Coffee Gator), and it stays fresh and flavorful. For our 8–10 cup morning pot, I typically use three scoops, which gives the perfect strength for our tastes. If you prefer a strong, bold dark roast, this might taste a little mild—but for a smooth everyday coffee, it’s perfect.

I like this coffee because it’s light enough for me and easy to drink. The flavor is smooth and not too strong, which is exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is that I wish they made the same one in decaf. I would definitely buy that too. Overall, it’s a good option if you prefer a lighter coffee that doesn’t taste too heavy or bitter.

I like this coffee very much but the price has gotten too high through the roof and I will not buy it again.
