​I honestly didn't even know Victoria's Secret made men's lotion like this, but I stumbled across it on Amazon for about 14 bucks and figured I would take a shot—and it turned out to be an absolute home run. While it's not a massive giant pump bottle like the ones you get at Walmart, it's a great, good-sized tube of lotion that gives you fantastic value for the price. I wanted to switch things up from traditional cologne by using a scented lotion instead, because I love how a lotion lets the fragrance bind directly to your skin for a much longer-lasting scent rather than just sitting on your clothes until it quickly fades away. ​I put it on almost every day right out of the shower once I'm dry, and the fragrance easily sticks with you all the way until the next day. Even though my skin isn't particularly dry and I mainly use it for the scent, it absorbs cleanly without ever feeling overly greasy. As for the smell itself, I'm not really into complex cologne jargon where people try to describe earthy or fruity undertones, but I know a popular, high-end scent when I experience one. It just has that classic, popular, expensive manly cologne smell that hits you and makes you immediately think, "Wow, that smells great." ​For only 14 dollars, you simply cannot go wrong with this product, whether you are buying it as a gift or picking it up for your own daily routine. It is an incredible product, and I am definitely going to be a lifetime buyer who grabs a new tube every single time this one runs out. I cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for a great-smelling, high-value men's lotion that punches way above its weight class. You won't be disappointed, and you'll love the results.

I know buying fragrances online can be a bit of a gamble, and my main concern was how it smelt. I realized none of the reviews really covered the scent in depth so I’ll do it here. One of the first things that I quickly realized was that the scent wasn’t just a traditional pure vanilla or layered amber scent. It was actually more of a cinnamon spice and vanilla to me. It is more of a sensual deeper take on vanilla and cinnamon tones as opposed to a layered sweet and airy smell. If you know warm vanilla sugar by bath and body works, I’ll compare it to that. That scent is more warm cozy and traditional. This one’s deeper and honestly a unique dimension of vanilla. I can see why some would say that this is better for the winter season, but honestly it works for summer too. The sparkle is just enough and the scent lasts for hours. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and rubs in quick. The design of the container is cute too

Victoria secret makes a very good moisturizing lotion. The bonus is the great scent and the lavender and vanilla is a winner. It's sad I can't get the champion body spray. I hope they don't retire this scent. I would buy again and recommend trying it.

I only gave this 4 stars due to the fact that I really thought I would be getting Victoria Secrets version of the old Vanilla Lace lotion. It DID say it was an archive item so I thought they were bringing it back in a different style. Instead of a bottle a tube. It IS VERY close to the old version but it is missing something. Unless my body chemistry has changed it is not the same however this is the best next thing. It does smell good and goes on very smooth and I will probably order more. I just do not understand why VS discontinued the old vanilla lace.
