It’s ok.
So far this is the only way to purchase a working ceiling light for CC. Amazon Japan has better curtains available with actual hanging curtains on a rod, for less than 1/2 this price. This is an OK set itself. I recommend to use a tacky glue instead of the double-sided tape that comes on the back of the Velcro on the curtains.

Best addition ever
It's just light. And probably best item to buy for Calico Critters houses. It will fit in every Calico house old and new and adds something special to play. It has button to turn light on and off and you can easily remove it and place in any fixture in house. The curtains are nice but will not stick to bare walls good. It's just double sided tape; and if you don't stick it to paper wallpaper it will eventually fall off plastic. Needs to be glued with strong glue. Maybe shoe goo. But the light itself is worth the buy.

Adding a little light to the red roof houses
I have several calico critters houses and found these to add to them. They look real sharp and add a little light.They run on watch batteries and have no idea of how long they will last, but time will tell. Even when turned off they make the room look nice.I have not used the curtains yet, but plan on using them soon. I wish the curtains came in different colors, as I have placed wallpaper in my rooms, just to make it look cute and more like a home.These snap in the hole in the ceiling and it has a spot where the the on and off switch goes, so it is handy for using the light.Even if the light quits working over time, they look good and won’t bother to replace, I will just save money on batteries.

Cute curtains. The light is kind of dim.
I would have given the set a five-star rating if the light had been brighter. The curtains are VERY cute with a pretty pattern. If the curtains and lights were sold separately, I would have given the curtains five stars and the lights a three-star rating. The lights are a nice style just a little too dim.

They really look quite winsome in the package but I purchased them as a Christmas Stocking Stuffer for my 4-year-old granddaughter; so, I guess if she isn't taken with them, I can always play with them myself. I'm sure she would lend me some of her other Calicos for that purpose, huh?

Easy to install and very cute
I bought this as a part of a gift for my daughter. She loved the working light. The light was super easy to install. The curtain is so adorable and so far it stayed put. It’s a fun and cute way to spruce up your Calico Critter home!

Cute
My 6 year old daughter and I love all things Calico Critters and this is no exception. The curtains aren't "soft" but they're for a dollhouse and they look cute, which is all I was looking for. My daughter loves the "real" light for her dollhouse.

Just for looks, not function
I was hoping to find a light that will actually add some light to the dollhouse so my daughter can play. It just adds a low orange glow. I don't want to wire my dollhouse for lights, so I'll keep looking. The curtains are cute tho!
