I want to remove only the protective back paints but not the silver.Can it work and what is the process?

Our Multi-Strip Paint Remover will remove just the backing paint but not the silver. You need to use the Mirror Remover or the Aluminum Remover to remove the silver. Removing the paint and removing the silver are two separate steps. Follow the instructions on the can of Multi-Strip to remove the paint. When the paint is all wrinkled, just push it the Multi-Strip/paint mix off the mirror and you should be left with a piece of unpainted silvered glass.
