Cable staples. Yes, Iโm reviewing cable staples. What else is there to do?
Here we are. Reviewing cable staplesโthe unsung heroes of cable management or the reason your wires donโt escape and throw a wild party behind the wall. Why am I reviewing staples that are basically glorified tiny metal clamps? Honestly, I donโt know. Maybe because someone has to appreciate the little things in life that keep your cables from looking like a ratโs nest of spaghetti. These staples? They do the job. They hold cables firmly, they donโt crush the wires (because nobody wants fried internet), and they donโt try to escape like my last batch of office pens. Plus, theyโre easy to use and strong enough to keep my cords in line without turning them into flattened noodles. In short: theyโre exactly what they claim to beโtiny, metal cable wranglers. Nothing fancy, no sparkly features, just dependable cable staples doing their staple thing. Would I buy again? Absolutely. Because sometimes, the real MVPs are the small, silent things holding your chaos together. So hereโs my review of cable staples. Youโre welcome. Now back to untangling your headphone cords.

Barked up the Right Tree
Used this to secure a cable to a tree in my backyard with an outdoor LED light. Over the years, my tree shed its bark, and with it, the original "cable staples" snapped off. I wanted something a little sturdier, more robust, because no one wants to scale a giant tree if they don't have to. Way better than the old metal staples, made in the U.S.A. ("assembled") and from an old-school brand. Easy to use, just hammered them right in, and every staple felt very secure. The plastic had just enough give and flex to "cling" to the tree but strong enough that it did not crack or break while hammering the nails (though obviously aim for the nails, not the plastic bracket). Received 15 staples for $6, and for my purposes, I thought this was a great value. Used five and have ten more for the next time... really hoping I won't have to do this again, though! Highly recommended!

Easy to use but nails can bend
These are very easy to use - hold over flattened Romex and hit in the nails on either side. I like that you can hold the "saddle" on the cable and only hit the nails in until they're needed - it's easier to avoid hammering the cable accidentally like can easily happen with regular staples. Since these have small nails (and the nails are well formed unlike some staple edges) they're easy to hit in - just a couple small hits on each side and they're in. I've also been able to use the side of a hammer in some tight areas too with success. It's a 250pk so there are quite a few of them. I've used them with 12/2 and 14/2 without an issue. You could probably do 14/3 or 12/3 as well, but more than that may be pushing it. The saddle is about a half inch big so you'd want whatever you're affixing to fit within that (plus Romex should be affixed flat), so keep that in mind (plus the nails are only about an inch tall). It's easy to grab a handful of these and get to work.

I try to find at least something that can be improved upon with each product I review as nothing is perfect and seldom leave 5 s
This is an add-on item which comes in extremely handy if you are a Prime member. You get 225 of these for half the price of 100 of others and the quality is exactly the same. Before purchasing these I had another "name brand" and when I received these I compared them to the few I had left in the name brand's container. These are exactly the same. Even the container is the same. The only difference is the label. I try to find at least something that can be improved upon with each product I review as nothing is perfect and seldom leave 5 star reviews, but this is a simple item that works well, is exactly as described, and for an unbeatable price. I can think of nothing they could do better, unless they'd like to start giving them away, of course. I use these not only for Romex, which is their intended purpose, but also to tack up RG6/59 and in a pinch even Cat5/6, especially if more than one run is co-located. Highly recommended.

Very nice
Perfect. I used a thin pipe with a nail set inside this allows You to hammer nails without hitting the wire or adjacent obstacles.

Great product, easy to use
Good staple for electrical cable. Put staple on cable. hold with thumb on plastic then tap nails into wood to get started. Better than the all steel ones

Excelent
Basically, this is the same stuff that you would normally buy at any hardware store, and pay several times over this price. I love those plastic staples, so much easier and safe to use over those metal ones. As for those complaints that nails bend easy - again, this is the same product that you would buy at the store. Just drive the nail straight, and it won't bend. If you can't do that, stop, put your hammer away, and hire someone else to do the job.
