For health reasons, I eat only sugar free. But I had a frustrating dry cough that had hung around for almost 3 months, getting worse and destroying my sleep. I tried the cough drop brands that use artificial sweeteners and chemical preservatives. They worked, but I needed them all day, every day thanks to the stupid cough. I just couldn't keep ingesting that level of chemicals, so searched again and found these. Finally! Not only do these from Herbion WORK to calm the cough, but they taste nice, are sweetened lightly with stevia, and for preservative use ascorbic acid (Vit c) and citrus acid. My doctors finally listened to me that this lingering cough was getting worse, and discovered it was drug induced, meaning it was caused by one of my prescriptions. They switched me over to another, and slowly the cough is getting better. But in the meantime, these cough drops have been a sanity saver! I got enough sleep by using one right before bedtime, and slept a lot better. Then I'd use them during the day, especially when going out. I mean, when you are hacking during flu season, no one around you believes you when you try to say no, I'm not contagious! They either back away, or places insist you wear a face mask. I can't really blame them, but it was so frustrating. The ONLY suggestion for improvement I have is this. They are all packaged inside the same, no matter the flavor. I bought Orange and also the Honey Lemon. I like them both. But when I took a strip of them out - they are in blister packs - to put into my purse, I can't tell which flavor they are, since they all look alike. No big deal, just suggestion for a minor improvement in packaging. Otherwise, I HIGHLY recommend these. Taste good. Healthy ingredients. And they WORK.

Finally cough drops with Stevia. Unless anyone can tell me any different I think stevia is the healthiest sugar substitute than any other sweetener out there. Of the three flavors, orange is my favorite, but way too expensive. I'm sticking with the mint because of the price. That's my second favorite of the three flavors anyway.

It so good for you

I am very disappointed with these. If I could could no stars, I would. They are advertised as 'Orange' cough drops. There is not one thing about these cough drops that make them orange. There is not one hint of orange flavor. They taste just like menthol, no other taste whatsoever. They are awful, spit it out immediately and I am not a picky food person. So sorry I wasted 6 dollars on this false advertising.

These are the only cough drops that I use. They're effective in controlling my cough and are sugar-free, using Stevia not artificial sweeteners.

These are my absolute favourite sugar-free cough sweets. Highly recommended. A great taste, value for money. Very soothing and worth buying.
