I purchased this Mellow platform bed for my son’s room and have been very happy with it. The solid wood design gives it a sturdy, quality feel, and I love that it does not require a box spring.The assembly was much easier than expected. My 15-year-old son actually put it together completely by himself, which says a lot about how straightforward the instructions and setup are.The cherry finish is beautiful and ended up matching his dresser almost perfectly. The room looks so much better now that the mattress is raised off the floor and the bed has a more finished, put-together look.The wooden slats provide great support for the mattress, and the frame feels stable once assembled. I also appreciate that the height gives some extra space underneath for storage.Overall, this has been a great purchase. It looks great, was incredibly easy to assemble, and feels like a sturdy, well-made bed frame. It completely changed the look of my son’s room, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable platform bed.

AMAZING QUALITY. This is a rare find! I was so pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this bed that I'm writing my first Amazon review ever. Well done! It is so lovely and well made. I am so happy at how beautiful this bed is. It was very easy to assemble and every part is thoughtful and designed with longevity in mind.

Assembly was straightforward and easy which I really appreciated!! The instructions were clear on how to build the frame and within about an hour and a half, I had it built. For the price, I am quite impressed with the quality of the materials and the provided wrench really helped with tightening the screws. No squeaks and the frame is extremely solid and sturdy!! I thought the height level would be adjustable but it isn't which I am not upset about as I prefer a bed lower to the ground anyway, I also have a futon mat on the frame which is not as thick as a regular mattress so that would add a bit more height if you prefer something higher.

I had one of those 8" high awesome looking "velvet" frames from Saatva that go around the mattress and stick out 4" all sides of the mattress. Hated it. Perpetual bruises on my shins. So I returned that and got this, which is a beautifiul, classy, real wood frame that is well constructed, doesn't stick out, offers under storage space, and was super easy to put together. And packaged really well to prevent any parts from being damaged!I looked at the pics, which don't show the indentions for the washers and bolts so I was like ?. So I looked at the bed pieces, looked again at the pics, applied common sense, tossed the directions to the side, and did it all myself (no team assembly) in 45 minutes.ASSEMBLY: Match the numbers and put the washers in the indentation holes of the leg to come out the other side (no indentations) and go into the board. Instead of attaching a post to each corner by going around the perimeter of the frame, I made 2 Ls then joined them into a square and propped each half assembled side up by a stool so it was level. Then did the middle piece. Ratchet is awesome. Class act on the part of the company to include that.SLATS: Unroll one group from bottom of the bed to the middle (peg there.) Then do same from the top of the bed to the middle (meets another peg). Get that first slat positioned correctly bc the velcro is very velcro-y. But between the pegs, there's no provided slat - so there's a gap there, despite what the directions show (go figure...!). It's the only fly in the ointment of an otherwise stellar, quality product. Likely makes no difference in support (unless it's kids jumping or adults playing), but that middle missing piece skews the total picture and drops a star. Intesting that they provide a ratchet, but skip the middle slat.

Awesome bedframe! Super sturdy. No creaking. Beautiful wood grain and color that isn't too dark or light and is very neutral in tone. Absolutely would purchase again. One reason we chose this bedframe is because the under the bed space is short. Our golden retriever loves to sleep under our bed, but her scooting herself under there every night and morning definitely wasn't good for her joints, so especially as she aged, avoiding that was super important. She cannot fit underneath this bed frame. I have a very thick mattress, a Big Fig brand, so the height of the frame is perfect, as I like my bed slightly tall. My mattress is what does that, mostly. Awesome that it isn't heavy. Very easy to move. I got a pretty rattan headboard to go with it and it looks beautiful. Like I said, I would absolutely purchase this frame again if this one ever starts to wear. I have had it for 3 years so far and it's good as new.

I got the 12" cherry version in full size.It was super easy to put together by myself. I didn't put it together in the order of the instructions, but the instructions are pretty good. All the screws fit just fine. I didn't have trouble tightening any of them. I love the tools they included and all the hardware seems like it will last a while.The only cons I can see is that the wood pieces are not solid and the slats are on the thin side. They are pieces likely glued together along with the joints. I'm not sure how well the whole frame would support athletic activities (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). For me this is just fine as I prefer a runner's high. The bed is sleek and since I downsized to a small house it looks better than my giant original bed.The price is fantastic for what it is. Feng shui wise I needed a wood frame instead of all metal so I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy other items from this company if they were as well engineered.

Excellent bed frame! The neutral wood color goes perfectly with almost any furniture and decor. It feels sturdy and well made, and the wooden slats provide great support without needing a box spring. It was also easy to assemble and looks beautiful once set up. Great quality for the price!

Accurate photo description. Sturdy as it has the metal bar support in the middle which is not visible. Could support our 25cm thick mattress.

J'ai choisi ce lit parce que je disposais d'un espace restreint, tant sur la largeur que sur la longueur, et c'est le plus compact que j'ai trouvé.J'ai mis un peu plus d'une heure à l'assembler toute seule, en prenant mon temps. C'était très facile, même sans aide. Toutes les pièces sont identifiées, elles ne sont pas trop lourdes à transporter individuellement, les outils sont fournis, et même les caoutchoucs à mettre sous les pattes pour protéger le plancher.Le lit lui-même est arrivé bien emballé dans une double boîte, aucune égratignure, et il est très solide. Le bois est beau. Il ne fait aucun bruit.J'ai mis un oreiller pleine largeur en guise de tête de lit, car je n'avais pas l'espace pour une vraie tête, et honnêtement, on ne dirait pas du tout que ce lit n'était pas cher. Il a la qualité et l'aspect d'un lit haut de gamme.

Apparently this bed was very easy to build. When I arrived home from work, my teenage son had already built it with a friend! I love that this bed is solid wood, takes up no space in a small room and provides perfect support for your mattress. It also looks stylish and modern. I am very satisfied with my purchase and definitely would recommend this bed platform.
