These pants are true to size- fit perfectly. They are lined with fleece, but outer layer is thinner than one would think, from reading the description. They have several pockets on the legs and in normal places as most pants do. They are comfortable and serve the purpose. But if you are looking for something for extreme cold temps, they may not be warm enough. They have been used in 20 degree weather, skiing and hiking, and they were sufficient, but unsure if they would stand up to lower temps and maintain their warmth unless multiple layers were worn underneath- in that case, you should order a size up. So far these have proven to be just a solid pair of hiking/shell pants. Wind and water resistant means they hold up to bad weather, but on their own they aren't overly warm, making them great for layering. Combine these with a base layer and they really shine; these keep you dry, the base layer keeps you warm.Five zippered pockets give you plenty of space to stash your stuff; 2 back, 2 front, and 1 map pocket on the front right leg. All zippers have pulls so you can easily use them with gloves or cold hands. Comes with a belt that feels cheap, however appears to be reasonably sturdy as I have yet to break it. The plastic buckle means you don't have cold metal to deal with in freezing temps. The sleek look of the pants means you'll look good on your next adventure.

These pants were surprisingly good quality. I bought these specifically for a trip that would be several hours in the snow. The temperature stayed around 15 degrees, and these pants kept me dry and warm the entire time. I didn't have an extra layer under them. I was really pleased with the pants, and I can definitely recommend them.

very nice pants but runs large. waist is OK but my butt is 34" pant is 44" too large. pant is 4" longer than my legs. too bad i has to return it.

I wore these pants in Antarctica. Temp was usually around 32 degrees. They were warm! I didn't need to wear anything underneath and still warm. On some Zodiac rides where it was in the 20s and windy, I wore leggings underneath and still plenty warm!! They were also easy to wash some dirty spots with water and a wash cloth. Highly recommend!
