Perfect.

As with anything taste based, each to their own! However, I bought this as a birthday present for my dad - it was very well received and thoroughly enjoyable. The taste is sweet with definite vanilla notes. The most noteworthy thing though about this whisky is how incredibly smooth it is - it is so so drinkable. This is no doubt the main reason why people love it. HOWEVER, I will mention the flip side. Although I loved drinking this, I have to note that sometimes you're looking for something more interesting where you sip it slowly and savour every sip and drag out the drink. I would say that this is not one of those drinks. There are other whiskies at lower price points that give you more interest, complex and punchy tasting. So value for money: it depends what you want! If you want to pay for something interesting to taste and explore, go with something else. If you want something impressively smooth and drinkable, then this is worth it!

A remarkable single malt whisky that if you’ve never tried it then you need to. It’s class.

Now one of my favourites,smooth and complex, certainly worth the money, subtle afternoons and a nice warm fuzziness.

A great big brand name. Great whisky and at a great price. Will look great on any bar or display. Very smooth to drink and can be mixed.

This Macallan 12 Double Cask tastes really smooth, with lovely toffee, orange peel and light spice notes from dual sherry oak casks. It is gentle enough for new whisky drinkers and pleasant for casual sipping after dinner. My only downside is the flavour finish feels a bit short, not rich enough for seasoned lovers. Considering its brand and taste, it deserves four stars and I will buy it again for daily drinking.

香り・味・余韻のバランスが素晴らしいウイスキーでした。甘く華やかな香りと滑らかな飲み口で、とても飲みやすいです。少し贅沢したい日にぴったりの一本。またリピートしたいと思います。

Compré este Macallan 12 Double Cask para regalárselo a mi marido y no pude haber elegido mejor. Aunque inicialmente buscaba la presentación clásica, recibí la edición "Collection" con la caja en blanco y rojo y la presentación es simplemente espectacular, mucho más elegante y especial para una ocasión importante. ​En cuanto al contenido, es un Macallan con todas las letras: suave, equilibrado y con esas notas de vainilla y miel que lo hacen tan agradable. A mi marido le ha encantado el detalle y la botella luce increíble en el mueble bar. ¡Muy recomendado si quieres quedar muy bien con alguien que aprecia el buen whisky!
