Netgear A6210-100PES AC1200 Wi-Fi USB 3.0 Dual Band Adapter

Some laptops face a peculiar problem with the internal network adapter working intermittently when used with Windows 10. Replacement of the adapter may not solve the problem. We can just plug and start using rightaway. I never experienced slowness or disconnections while using this wifi adapter. Highly recommended for long time continuous usage for critical work. Highly reliable alternative for a LAN cable. Powerful antennas help it receive signals even through many obstacles. Can be connected directly to the cpu or laptop or connected through the usb dock. Using dock helps the adapter from getting overheated.

Was looking for a wireless solution for my gaming pc but the main problem with wireless adaptor is uncertain speed and signal drops. And the best company to rely on counter these problems is Netgear, have been using NETGEAR products for a while now and this one proved the same.

I installed it on my Laptop with the intention to speed up my WiFi signal. To my utter surprise & shock, I found that my network was losing connection, so was my internet. I checked everything and all was fine. I then replaced the Wifi dongle to my old one & VOLIA, everything started working fine.I purchased NETGEAR product thinking it will be high quality and will enhance my connectivity, but it's horrible. Please don't buy.Sorry NETGEAR, but I write what I experienced.

This is a review for A6210 AC1200.Excellent product! I first purchased the other popular usb 5G wifi adaptor from Amazon with £12.95 but it was poor, I only have very unstable 20-120 Mbps connection. I couldn't stream 1080p video with it. I returned it and bought this one. Yes it is more than twice as expensive as the other, but the speed is ROCK SOLID TRIPLE! It connects at 585Mbps or 525Mbps and stream any video smoothly, no matter they are HD or 4K.My router is Virgin media super hub with 2.4G and 5G. They are in different rooms with 4 walls in between and about 10 meters away. I setup Virgin media super hub with 2.4G and 5G. 5G was set at 1.3Gbps mode.Excellent! For the first time I feel WiFi is as good as cable ethernet!Highly recommend. Well worth every penny.

Compre este adaptador porque vi las buenas opiniones sobre dicho producto , y la verdad como neceditaba uno urgentemente no dude en decidirme , y mas cuando enontraba un cierto parecido en el frontal de mi pc Corsair 900d.Como tengo windows 10 pro de 64 bits, ni siquiera abri el Cd de Drivers y me baje lo de la pagina Netgear , los instale, puse la contraseña de mi wifi y a funcionar.Funciona muy bien, no tube ningun problema con su instalacion y estoy muy contento con el, lo volveria a comprar, esta un poquito elevado su precio , pero se ve que es de calidad bastante buena

Seit Jahren versuche ich im OG einen PC im Kinderzimmer mit einem vernünftigen Netzwerk zu versorgen. Da leider kein Coax LAN Kabel im Haus verlegt ist, muss entweder dLAN oder WLAN herhalten. Dies klappte bisher mehr schlecht als recht, obwohl ich fast alles ausprobiert habe,Im Büro steht eine Fritz!Box 7390 mit normalem 300 MBit WLAN im 2.4 und 5 GHz Band. Im Kinderzimmer hatte ich den AVM Fritz!WLAN N USB Stick mit 300 MBit im 2.4 oder 5 GHz Band. Ich habe nie Verbindungen mit mehr als 54 MBit zustande bekommen, meist war es weniger. Der Empfang war miserabel egal wo ich den Stick aufstellte. Entsprechend kam ich beim kopieren auf mein NAS auf kaum brauchbare 2.5 MB/s Transferrate. Backups und File Copies gehen endlos.Zwischenzeitlich habe ich noch an die Fritz!Box 7390 einen AVM 1750E Repeater im IP Bridge Mode gehängt und das interne WLAN ausgeschaltet. Dachte ev. kriege ich mehr Signal im Kinderzimmer. Aber das war nicht der Fall mit dem AVM Wlan USB Stick am PC, ansonsten aber endlich AC WLAN mit gutem Signal im ganzen Haus, also gutes Upgrade, aber Kinderzimmer immer noch im WLAN Funkloch.Auch dLAN brachte da oben keine merkliche Verbesserung. Habe zuerst die 200er, dann 500er und nun noch die 1200er ausprobiert. Transferrate gerade mal 4-5 MB/s. Laut dLAN Cockpit ca. 100 MBit/s Verbindungsrate. Hatte es schon aufgegeben, den PC irgendwie vernünftig ins LAN zu bekommen, bis ich mich entschloß heute diesen USB WLAN Adapter zu bestellen und auszuprobieren. Die Hoffnung, dass es was bringt war aber eher gering nach all den Fehlversuchen in diesem verflixten Zimmer (auch meine Smartphones bekammen dort gerade so 1-2 Balken WLAN Signalstärke -80dBi, also zum Verzweifeln. Internet im Schneckentempo).Heute nun den Netgear A6210 ausgepackt. Neueste Treiber von der Homepage geladen und installiert. Und Stick in USB 3.0 Port gesteckt und Antenne aufgeklappt. In Netgear Genie die WLAN Verbindungsparameter (SSID und Passwort) eingegeben und an den Fritz!Repeater 1750E Accesspoint im 5GHz Band per AC WLAN verbunden. Und traue meinen Augen nicht: Verbunden mit ca, 585-702 MBit/s leicht schwankend, aber ca. 3-4 grüne Balken und guter Empfang. Der 1750E zeigt Verbindungsraten von ca. 481 MBit/s an. Naja denke ich mir immerhin 10-mal mehr als die knapp 54 MBit/s und weniger mit dem AVN WLAN Stick.Also schnell mal ein File aufs NAS kopiert: Flutscht mit 10-11 MB/s also Faktor 4. Lesen mit 15-16 MB/s also Faktor 6 zu den ursprünglichen 2,5 MB/s.Also für mich hat sich dieser Versuch gelohnt, für die knapp 43 € habe ich nun endlich mal einen WLAN Adapter, der vernünftige Transferraten im WLAN erlaubt, selbst in diesem abgeschatteten Zimmer. Ist zwar kein GBit LAN und theoretisch hätte ich auch mehr Durchsatz beim Kopieren erwartet nach den traumhaften Verbindungsraten, aber jetzt habe ich zumindest mal 100 MBit Ethernet Kabel Niveau und das reicht für Backups und große Filetransfers aufs NAS gut aus. Das elendige Warten beim Kopieren von größeren Files hat nun endlich ein Ende.Kann den Adapter nur Empfeheln. Installation 10 min. und funktioniert einwandfrei für das was ich bisher sehen konnte. Der beste Wlan Adapter, den ich bisher hatte und ja AC Wlan lohnt sich wirklich. Die Reichweite und der Durchsatz im Netz sind Klasse und das im 5GHz Band. Alle Nachbarsnetze funken auf 2.4GHz. Da gebe ich doch jetzt glatt 5 Sterne.
