Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder, Luminous Foundation with SPF 20, Oil Free, Talc Free & Weightless, Vegan & Cruelty-Free Makeup

I am very picky about makeup--this foundation looks natural and light, yet has very buildable coverage--so you can adjust coverage for day. It is hypoallergenic and I have never broken out from it (very oily combination skin). I usually dust over with a matte finishing powder and that keeps me dry without the need to blot for a good part of the day. It teams up wonderfully with the Jane Iredale smooth operator primer beforehand, and a hydration spray afterwards. I have also used this foundation in combination with other concealers, as well as bronzers/highlighters underneath--this powder is great for evening those out and providing a smooth, put together, blended finish.

I ordered this after seeing it somewhere online that it is an amazing powder, smoothing out all pores, especially for older woman. So I bought it. Yes, it's pricey but worth it! I put it over my Foundation. Beautiful and smooth. I'll continue to buy drugstore makeup but will splurge on this powder!

Great foundation if you have normal/oily skin. It great quality and goes on easily. My aesthitician (sp) recommended this product and I can say it has truly been wonderful. I use this and sometimes the compact to keep it switched up a bit. The product is good for your skin and provides great coverage. It goes on very mat but when your natural skin oils it looks great. I highly recommend this product.

Made the switch to non-toxic/natural beauty products this year. Love the Jane Iredale brand. I bought several products. While a little expensive, they are good quality and feel great on my mature skin.

This mineral powder base is wonderful for someone with dry skin. It really covers nicely without looking cakey. I leaves a silky sheen as if the face glows. However, I can not give it five stars, because it does not work for women with combo or oily skin. Even on a dry winter day, with my T-zones get oily and this powder then causes break-outs. All in all, Jane Iredale's products are luxurious but for oily or combination skin tones, I would recommend Lauren Hutton's Aqua Elements.

I have used Amazing Base on and off for years. It is easy to use and improves the appearance of my aging skin. I carefully follow the application instructions that came with the product because the manufacturer has studied and tested the product. I have not needed to modify the instructions to suit me. The SPF 20 is significant. After washing my face, I apply a peptide moisturizer, micronized zinc oxide sunscreen cream SPF 28 and finish with Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder. I allow each layer of product to dry before applying the next layer. I do not use Iredale's D20 Hydration Spray because the powder stays put on my face. I live in the southeast, so the climate is usually not dry. I do not know I am wearing makeup even though I get light coverage of some of the light brown spots on my face. I do not usually sleep without washing my face but this powder does not clog my pores. So an occasional night without the usual facial routine is not as risky as with a liquid foundation. This powder goes a long way and is worth the expense.

I absolutely love Jane Iredale products and this powder is no exception. I use their matte foundation primer first and then apply this powder. It provides the perfect amount of coverage and lasts all day.

L’unico fondotinta che mi piace. Adatto anche in estate. Compro il colore suntan pur avendo un incarnato medio chiaro neutro. L’ho provato più chiaro ma diventa troppo chiaro e va ravvivato con fard, blush o simile. Prima metto il primer Marshmellow NYX (bello cicciotto, effetto levigante, copre bene le imperfezioni) e con il pennello piatto applico questo. Nessuna differenza rispetto ai fondotinta liquidi matt.
