im trying to replace american standard toilet tank top model # 735122 The 735121 is available and looks just like it so would that one work ?

They are not the same. They are different depths, the 735122 would be too small for your tank. -American Standard Tech Team

have an Amer. Standard Cadet 3 complete round front. (241417) 7 years old. Need a new lid will model 735121 fit it?

Contact American Standard and they will tell you what will fit.

Will this fit model #4370A?

No, this lid will not fit model number 4370A. The correct lid for that tank is part number, 735199-400.020 (in white). Sincerely, Your American Standard Consumer Connection Team
